Unsigned recording artist LLYC Thaeastcoast Prince (pronounced L L Y C Thaeastcoast Prince),is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. He was born and raised in the gritty streets of Roxbury by his single mother and he is the oldest of his four younger siblings. His nationality consist of Jamaican, Native American, Puerto Rican & Portuguese background, but does not hinder his musical talents or ability. He first fell in love with music at the tender age of six and started pursuing music professionally at the age of sixteen. He grew up listening to music from Al Green, Keith Sweat, Sugar Hill Gang, NWA, and many other old school musicians. As he got older and started to expand his music knowledge, he started to listen to Ice T, LL Cool J, DMX, J.Dilla, and Slum Village; his passion grew stronger for music and the hunger motivated him to pursue music on a more professional level. He started recording records in a basement in at his friend's house before he decided to start recording music in a professional environment. He has released quite a few records which has being doing good in numbers and continuously strives to go harder on each record he releases and can be heard on different music platforms such as NewYorkUndergroundRadio, Touch 106.1FM, Soundcloud, Spotify & Youtube. He is currently working on his debut independent titled, MilitiaGod, which has no current release date, but will be available via iTunes and there will be a deluxe version available that will feature three tracks not available on the original twelve track full length project released under his independent label imprint, MassGraveMusicGroup.
