Music has always been a huge part of Romixed’s life as she grew up to Carribbean rhythms. Being nearly the only child with multicultural background in her home village she always searched for a way to express herself and her identity throughout music and dancing. Moving to Cologne and learning how to DJ allowed her to put her passion on another level. Now she combines a variety of genres that influenced her as a person such as HipHop, House, Latin, Afro and Futurebeats. For Romixed it’s all about the vibes that a track transfers no matter the direction so she always keeps an open mind while digging new inspiring music.

I was gonna wait until I have some resources to get an artwork done like the the Entree and the Main but I really like this mix and I can’t wait any longer to share with all of You and I thought.. “fuck it I’m the dessert, lol”, so here’s a photo of me on this mix lol.

This mix is probably one of my best work to date, I’m so grateful to have grown in this art form and I can’t wait to play these sounds to you all in a live setting.

Janelle Wharton, more formally known as "Woah Nellie" is a music journalist, curator, and DJ. Her career in music began in 2014 as a daytime radio host for her college radio station. After discovering platforms like Majestic Casual during that time, she aimed to create her own station where she would be able to showcase the future sounds she began to curate. During her last year of college, she was granted her own time slot to have her own radio show which she named Nitetide FM. Since graduating she has built Nitetide into a biweekly show that highlights DJ's and producers from around the world. In addition to radio, she also works as a music journalist highlighting various artists and curates the "RNB Room" playlist for  Souletiquette.
