I got in a fistfight last night,

I bought a one-way ticket last night. 
two in the morning, I boarded my flight.
I thought by now, I’d be over you, 
but no matter what I do, it is no use. 
I still dream about you at night, 
I wish I didn’t,
trust me, I’ve tried.

Now I’m in some girl’s Subaru, 
How I got here, I don’t have a clue.
She’s nice, but she's not you.
She's cool, but she’s not who, 
I need so bad. I need you so bad.

I think it’s time I stop running, 
Time I start something, 
Time I get away from my mistakes,
Time I stop making excuses for the way,
the way I’ve been I’ve been acting, 
it’s like a kid, 
and no one should own me, the way you did.
I guess I was the fool, 
for believing in you.

But, lets be done with that, 
pretty sure no one’s listening this deep in the track,
cause it’s starting to stop, stop making sense,
and I’m done with these fakes and their pens.

the things you did, the things you said,
there’s something that's wrong, inside your head.

What makes you treat someone like that?
Why is it so easy to sweep me under the mat?
