We are big fans of Simon Fava & Yvvan Back's driving Latin Tech sound. We've seen their killer versions of "Magalenha" and "Sway" tear up many a dancefloor. We are equally impressed with Cumbiafrica, whose high-octane version of "Morenita" (w/ Hugel) kick-started the Latin tech movement. So, when Simon proposed a release with all three artists, how could we refuse?! "The Heat" samples the Columbian classic "La Cumbia Cienaguera," which Samim famously used in his 2007 Ibiza anthem "Heater." Whereas Samim kept things strictly instrumental, Cumbiafrica has added their vocals to this one, giving the already-famous accordion licks a new lease of life. Add in Simon & Yvvan's party-starting percussive groove, and we have an Ibiza-primed banger. Tequilas all round!

One of the finest sets we heard at Miami Winter Music was Amal Nemer DJing at 1-800 Lucky. The highlight of her two-hour loopy tech journey was her version of the Rhianna classic "Don't Stop The Music", with Amal delivering a percussion groove reminiscent of cuts played by Tini Gessler and Carlita. Stripped back and super DJ-friendly, we have recreated the vocal for everyone to enjoy this Ibiza-primed banger. Dive in.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists like Cumbiafrica and Tommie Sunshine and has remixed tracks for Laidback Luke, Fedde Le Grand, and others.

Reebs is also a co-founder of Nameless Festival and Bpolar Studio.
