ROOKIE is a music producer and DJ who has spent over a decade shaping the sound of Indonesia’s underground electronic scene. Starting from smoky bar corners in Bandung, he’s grown into a mainstay on the country’s biggest stages — from LaLaLa Festival, Shivering Ground, and Djakarta Warehouse Project, to genre-defying events like Hammersonic, Nowplaying Festival, Doomsday, and more.

His journey isn’t just local. In 2017, ROOKIE crossed borders with a tour in Singapore promoting his single “Void.” Since then, he's released critically appreciated works — from his debut album One Touch of Unreality (2018), the culturally rooted EP Reues (Proud To Be A Sundanese) (2022), to his latest genre-bending album EL//NATH (2024), featuring names like Bottlesmoker, ONAR’s Ayub Jonn, and Nadse (Ex-JKT48).

Known for blending deep emotion with sonic experimentation, ROOKIE's performances aren't just sets — they’re immersive stories. Whether remixing underground gems or collaborating across genres, he continues to push boundaries and offer a fresh voice in the evolving soundscape of Southeast Asian music.
