Giles started off in Wichita Kansas writing poetry at the age of 12 listening to all kinds of music mother and father both being musically inclined, opened up a world of creativeness, choirs, bands and dj's influenced him at an early age! able to create from the soul helped him in his journey, 
He will never forget the first time he put a poem on paper and recited it to a beat and realized it's another world opened up and since that day that 12 year  old boy has grown with the gift of creative writing and has practiced delivery and building lyrics, he was in middle school when people started recognizing him for his FREESTYLE lyrics and ability ! they Named him Showstopper and the name stuck with him throughout life, We all know everytime he gets on the stage your in for a Show , hence his nickname given by  friends and his brother Iam Des ! aka Davonte Suarez of Suarez Republic !
coming from Wichita Kansas you only have a couple options in life Drugs, rap, sports, or College, 
Lets keep it real not everyone growing up has the money for college
Although he was smart in school he did one semester in college for accounting but knew it wasn't for him , being shipped away by his father to attend school in manhattan kansas at the age of 16 on his own he graduated early with his highschool diploma , went to business school early and did accounting, being away from home so long and so young he felt a void, and homesick , he dropped out of college and went back home, to friends doing the same thing they been doing Drugs , Gangs, Stealing ,and Robbing, 
he realized this isn't for me after several occasions and close calls flirting with the line of death. ! EVERY ONE HAS A STORY TO TELL , WHO WILL TELL MY STORY IF I DIE, I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW MY STORY BEFORE I GO IN MY WORDS, WE ALL HAVE A STORY TO TELL  WHO WILL TELL IT FOR YOU?
