Samson Efe Akalusi, also known by stage name SMASHY hails from Delta
state, NIGERIA. SMASHY finished his higher education from Moshood
Abiola Technical School Abeokuta Ogun State where he studied Business
Administration.

He started singing at a tender age, entertaining small groups of
people with his unique vocals.

His mentors include Westlife, Banky W, Justin Timberlake, Chris
Brown, Dare Art Alade amongst others. Smashy has done a lot of cover
songs such as When a woman loves a man (Original by Westlife) Stay
(Original by Rihanna), Sorry (Original by Justin Bieber), Breathless
(Original by Shane Ward) amongst others.

SMASHY was encouraged to sing professionally by Nigerian RnB Artist
Paul Play signed under BMG, after listening to his first single titled
DESTINY.

SMASHY released his first single titled DESTINY officially in 2014,
with other killer tunes such as MY GIRL, SHADOW, WALKED AWAY, with
lots of cover songs to his credit.

His first single DESTINY got SMASHY an exclusive interview with online
radio in the United States (TOGINET RADIO).

DESTINY by SMASHY also got featured on a mixtape (I PUT ME ON THE
PROJECT VOL1) by 100Wreckordz Kansas city USA.
This development made SMASHY more determined to continue to carve his
own niche in the highly competitive music industry, he is determined
to break barriers in the music industry.
