Holy shit….. It’s AMSTERDAM versus RIO DE JANEIRO!
Rocky Wellstack teams up with Ruxell for some Futuristic Baile Funk sounds.

Rocky already showed the world his love for the genre with his official remix for Major Lazer’s “Come On To Me”. The song was reposted on the Major Lazer soundcloud and recently hit the 600K plays. The Baile Funk sound was once again presented to a worldwide audience and Rocky received a lot of love from Brazil. 
He decided he wanted to do more and contacted Rio de Janeiro native, RUXELL.
The talented Ruxell is no stranger to the genre since he grew up in the midst of the Caixa sound. The producers shared their ideas and started working on a track.

The result is the crazy Future Funk banger “BOLANGO” and comes in 2 versions.

The STACKED VERSION is a straight forward banger that builds immediately towards a future funk drop with some unexpected melodic twists.
The KAOZADA VERSION is a bit more dynamic and explores the vocals, crazy Trap vibes and a more classic funk drop.

Bolango is part of Ruxell’s upcoming EP called “Kaozada” and will be available for free SOON. 
This is the Stacked Version.

“Back in the 90’s there was this huge bubbling wave in Holland. I was too young to join the hype, but i remember my older brother dancing to it and playing these cassette mixes all day. Hearing this music definitely shaped my musical DNA. I realized this some time ago and really appreciate the genre. Back then it was about speeding and chopping up dancehall records. Creating high pitched voices and the fast dembow riddims.” 

EL CONO

“El Cono is my take on bubbling. It’s new. I sampled Gully Bop’s “Pussy Specialist”, the classic Bam Bam Riddim and added my own shit. There’s some crazy pitching going up and down, weird vocal effects, an unexpected drop and enough bass for days. 
Combining the classic bubbling with today’s sound, to me, is what makes it Future Bubbling.”

“Those are basically 2 bubbling remixes i made exclusively for my 2015 Europe Summertour. 
Almost always i played one after the other. I made really long outro’s which makes them easy and fun to mix. Probably the biggest hits of 2015 and most remixed songs ever, lol, but i still wanted to share my bubbling versions with the people.”

With residencies in 2 of the best clubs of Medellin, Maki is one of the key influencers of the quickly emerging Tropical Bass sound in Colombia.

Maki was born and raised in Medellin, and grew up in the midst of the true Colombian sounds of Salsa, Cumbia and Vallenato. He brought a classic piece from Rodolfo y Los Hispanos over to Amsterdam and remixed it with Rocky. 
The result is a fruity fresh Tropical Bass booty banger!

Track 5 features non other than Major Lazer's very own Jillionaire! Rocky and his big afro'd island friend have been creating music together for quite some time now. They made official remixes for salsa legend Celia Cruz, soca king Kerwin Du Bois and WeChief.

After all the flips and reworks, It was about time they did an original track! Jillionaire calls this riddim "kind of a half time dancehall ting" because of the odd but catchy flow.
It features hyped up Jamaican vocals by RDX and we want to thank Anthony Records and DJ Tropical for making this possible!

After the success of their collab "Escobar", Wellstack and Zoowow decided to explore the boundaries of that interesting Latin-Moombah combo once more.

The guys tried to stay away from that typical 4-to-the-floor drop and created an interesting swing by removing every 2nd kick.
On top of this foundation we find a wavey smooth horn section, vocal chops and loadssss of latin percussion!
