Sidima Mahlangu, aka “Ta Melo” was Born in Cape town, South Africa. He is a self-taught musician, producer and audio engineer whose interest in music was sparked when he started out as a dancer in his early teens. At age 15 he decided to take music seriously and started DJing. The curiosity of how music was made led him to meet Pyro who helped him understand music production. Ta Melo was featured in a song on Pyro's beats mixtape titled; “My World”. He dropped his debut single - of which he wrote and produced - titled "She" (Ft. BBM & Toxic Goons}. His engineering credits include a long list of songs and artists such as Avela Mvalo, for whom he recorded, mixed and mastered a full body of work for her projects “Stepping Stone” & "Psalm 121".
 Repping Nyanga East, Cape Town comes Ta Melo joining the new wave of the Kapstaad hip hop scene resurgence into the mainstream. From the birth place of hip hop in SA, Ta Melo along with the likes of Dee Koala and Youngsta CPT is ready to put his city on the map once again sonically.
