 "The question I ask to myself everyday is, if I don’t do what I love what's the point of living? My parents always taught me no money in the world can bring you happiness if you don’t love what you do".... So I took that statement and ran with it. My names Taylor Russell AKA T.Russ, born and raised in the melting pot of America, south Florida I’ve been around a variety of diffrent cultures and seen a lot from the good to the bad. Music is something that I’ve loved my entire life, coming from a family where music has always been a lifestyle, my grandmother was a professional singer in the 40’s and my grandfather was a bass player. Music has been a part of my blood and heritage.  Ever since I can remember I’ve been singing, when I was about 5 years old I got a microphone and used to perform music for my family dancing and singing.  In the 5th grade I had my first solo in chorus and got a standing ovation.  Throughout the later years in my life I decided to write music and never stop, reaching high school I started writing music fully. I’ve been Inspired by sounds from Biggie Smalls, 2pac, Indie Rock , Dirty South Rap/Hip hop  and also house/trance music, just to name a few.  People ask me all the time why I make music and what’s my drive. Throughout life, I’ve come to realize not being scared to be yourself is the main key to life in general. There was a huge moment in my life where all I did was write music and hold it in, wondering what people may think and scared of the reaction. Toward the end of 2012 I decided to change myself and shoot for the stars.So why do I make music? I make music to show the entire world that no matter what, do what you love don’t be scared of rejection, don’t be scared to be yourself because once you overcome that there is nothing left but greatness.  I make music so that for one moment in life people can step out the realm of reality hear my music, feel happiness and dance as if no one is watching…..That’s what my main‘ goal in life is, to not only make music but to make people realize it’s ok to be yourself.
