Growing up in East London, Wilza learned to play the piano classically reaching grade 6 as a teenager, but then shifted his sights to DJ'ing and started locally as part of a 'sound' at age 16. He juggled this with his other love, Basketball where he played for London Towers (the best team in the country at the time) till the age of 19 and then moved to semi professional football in the years to follow. 
Now, with a wealth of experience both behind the decks, and managing record labels (he used to manage eclectic record label, Casual Records; and House label Need2Soul) Wilza is now ready to release some of his own House music production work to the world through his own label, SwingBeat Records. His sound focuses on bringing back elements and influences from late 80's and early 90's New Jack Swing/RnB/Hip Hop/Soul and using those influences to create modern days bangers
