Adeyinka Lipede, son of Prince Funsho and Dupe Lipede,was born in Bronx, New York. He spent a few years of his childhood in New York before moving into Ake Palace, Abeokuta with his grandfather King Oyebade Lipede (Oba of Egbaland).

In Nigeria, Yinkz attended Mate Nursery/Primary School in Ketu,
Lagos. He began to learn his native tongue and dug deep into his
roots. His PASSION for music began as he started attending church
with his mother while living in Nigeria.

The sweet sounds of Naija music motivated Yinkz as he moved back
to the United States, east coast to be exact. There he attended and
graduated high school and college.As hobbies, Yinkz played
set drums and was a backup singer for a live band. It was then when
he realized he wanted to pursue his career as an artist.

Yinkz then took flight to Hollywood, California where he continued
performing as a set drummer. One day, Yinkz helped compose a hook to a song with his friend Olubenga Taiwo aka Tumbo, who is a producer. Tumbo began to notice Yinkz’s talent and ambition.Thereon after a star was born.

Yinkz continues to strive for his position at the top as an artist. Letting it known that his music is not just any ordinary Naija tune. His craft is very unique. This American born, Naija bred star Yinkz will continue to keep his name strong in the music industry.
