There are a number of influences at play in this composition; following on from the war themed previous 2 tracks, this one conjures up visions of space and a guiding light of hope & resilience.  It invites the listener to explore its twinkling guitars, percussive energy, ethereal chants, deep strings and pulsing basses… all mixed together into a celestial audio soup.  This one has been cooked to perfection, straight from the lab.

Bristol has an enviable history in this music, stretching from the days of the The Wild Bunch, Smith & Mighty and Massive Attack through to Full Cycle and latterly Jungle Syndicate and Sofa Sound, not to mention the hundreds of producers and DJs who have moved to the city for inspiration and collaboration over the years, so it’s safe to say that it takes an awful lot for a young producer to stand out there, and yet over the course of the four tracks on this EP that is exactly what Kidsonic does. Effortlessly showcasing the many strings to his bow, this EP moves from heads down rollers like “Altum”, call and response tribal steppers built around catchy vocal samples like Deeper Love, as well as an artfully constructed vocal banger crafted around the unmistakable bars of MC Swift.

Each of the tunes has been getting plenty of early support on radio and on livestreams and we are entirely confident that no matter how long it takes until the clubs open their doors again this EP will still sound fresh enough to play at the welcome-back party.

'Infinite' opens up with an array of dark, techy vibes that push forth the introduction and throughout the buildup of this track preparing for a heavy-hitting sub that's accompanied by an array of glitchy, distorted synths. Arxiva really broadcasts his creativity throughout the 2nd half of this track, implementing an arrangement of fills and glitchy percussion to match the synths.

Ruckus then allows the vocals to take the limelight they deserve, before unleashing a weighty arsenal of ghastly, gritty sonics. Alternating between rhythmic styles throughout the track, Ruckus perfectly clears the stage for GEAR to take the reigns on this one. It is without doubt that the synergy heard throughout this track, cements the name of this unique EP.
