MELTDOWN és el primer treball cantant en solitari d'Asra3, Cundit i desencadenant de l'esdeveniment Desacato Goblin. L'EP, autoproduit, està ple de veus ultraprocessades i influències com la Makina, Cumbia Rebajada, Reggaeton, Hyperpop, J-Core, La Nova Cançó i més.

El primer track, MELTDOWN, dona nom a l'EP. És una col·laboració amb la VOCALOID Maika/Ona. La lletra prové de la cançó japonesa Meltdown, de Kagamine Rin. Parla sobre civilització, angoixa, autodestrucció i somnis. Fa 5 anys, va ser traduïda de manera rara al català en un cover de la Maika per una tal "SiraGem VOC" a YouTube. Tot plegat va cridar l'atenció fins al punt de ser homenatjat en aquesta canço agredolça i ràpida.

SUMMER WARS entona melodies místiques i arabesques sobre Cúmbia lenta. Una part de la lletra també és reciclada i traduïda. La cançó original d'on aquesta part prové és Summer Wars, de Rhythmics i Cat Like Thief. Aquesta narra un amor d'estiu a primera vista. A l'Asra3 de 14 anys li agradava i al redescobrir-la va fer això. Alguns sons utilitzats provenen del Foley del Minecraft.

PEPES tradueix al català el hit festiu post-covid Farruko - Pepas. Diria que només remarca i caricaturitza la idea original d'en Farruko. L'instrumental, pura música de chringuito, desemboca en un frenètic Nightcore de si mateixa.

HELENA és una recreació de Joan Manel Serrat - Helena, un tema duríssim. Aquí l'Asra3 tenia ganes flipar-se, fer de Serrat i emular una mica l'estil de les cançons de fa 50 anys o així. Entre altres coses està inspirada en Spinetta, rebe i el Flamenco.

Fun fact: part de la caràtula ha estat generada entrant els lyrics de Mediterraneo del Serrat traduïts a l'anglès a la intel·ligència artificial DALL-E 2.

The self-produced EP is overflowed by ultra processed vocals and influences from genres such as Makina, Cumbia Rebajada, Reggaeton, Hyperpop, J-Core, Nightcore, La Nova Cançó and more.

The first track, MELTDOWN, names the EP. It's a collaboration with the VOCALOID Maika/Ona. The lyrics come from the Japanese song Meltdown by Kagamine Rin. They are about civilization, anguish, self-destruction and dreams. 5 years ago, a weird Japanese-Catalan translation was made for a Maika's cover by a "SiraGem VOC" in YouTube. All this awakened interest to the point of being honored in this fast and bittersweet song.

SUMMER WARS intones arabesque and mystic melodies over slow Cumbia. A part of the lyrics is also recycled and translated. Its original song is Summer Wars by Rhythmics and Cat Like Thief. It narrates a first sight summer love. 14 yo Asra3 liked it and made this after rediscovering it 7 years later. Some sounds used in this track come from Minecraft's foley.

PEPES translates into Catalan the post-covid festive hit Farruko - Pepas. I would say it only remarks and caricatures Farruko's original idea. The instrumental, pure spanish beach bar music, flows into a Nightcore version of itself.

Angzarr tells the story of an invasion. It’s a concept album–the first half of the album is from the invading species perspective and the second half of the album offers the human perspective and connects us back to our second act protagonist Michael. The overarching theme I think relates to how we connect with loved ones during disaster.

I see Angzarr in many ways as a sonic journey into cosmic horror. I think the music I make is something I’d call ‘descriptive techno’ borrowing from the classical concept of descriptive music (Wagner, Schubert etc.), I want to tell stories where the intensity of the bpm is representative of an emotional experience–(Disaster, Fear, Freedom, Love, Joy, even Sex), allowing the sound to represent both the physical and the metaphysical. I’ve worked really really hard on this album and I genuinely hope people enjoy the world that it lives in.

Some time ago I was very tempted by the seductive sounds of the flute and so I dug around in search of 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝓈𝓉 𝒻𝓁𝓊𝓉𝑒 𝓂𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉𝓈. Having discovered some gems, I decided to piece together a mix with my top picks. Here's the result - a collage driven by various pipe sounds, enriched by plucked strings and bizarre noises, some set in epic harmonies. Sometimes touching, other times goofy and naive; gentle all of a sudden, then spry and restless 🌬️🧃💫🤗

Angzarr tells the story of an invasion. It’s a concept album–the first half of the album is from the invading species perspective and the second half of the album offers the human perspective and connects us back to our second act protagonist Michael. The overarching theme I think relates to how we connect with loved ones during disaster.

I see Angzarr in many ways as a sonic journey into cosmic horror. I think the music I make is something I’d call ‘descriptive techno’ borrowing from the classical concept of descriptive music (Wagner, Schubert etc.), I want to tell stories where the intensity of the bpm is representative of an emotional experience–(Disaster, Fear, Freedom, Love, Joy, even Sex), allowing the sound to represent both the physical and the metaphysical. I’ve worked really really hard on this album and I genuinely hope people enjoy the world that it lives in.

Sliding the opal signet upon her longest claw, Venus falls into dream. Eyes reopened, animals cross her vision but her own reflection disappears in the long mirrored halls fluttering with dirges of fantasy. Some green tea to awaken her cold spirit, she thanks the small princess who hands her the goblet. As her face morphs in the eternal emerald lobby, her pores breath out the dungeon air of endless winters past. The princess is carried away by her loyal goat, turning back for a moment to see the sprouting of Venus’ dewy wings. Floating above a sparkling dawn with unexpected ease, Venus spies the convention of fae and trasgus beneath the lush canopy. The pagan festivities unleash their autumnal pulse. “Is this how it all began?”

Deslizando el sello de ópalo en su garra más larga, Venus sucumbe al ensueño. Reabriendo los ojos, animales cruzan su campo de visión, pero su propio reflejo desaparece en los largos pasadizos enespejados, aleteando con elegías de fantasía. Un poco de té verde para despertar su gélido espíritu, da gracias a la pequeña princesa que le ofrece el cáliz. A la par que su cara se metamorfosea en la sala de espera eterna y esmeralda, sus poros exhalan el mazmórrico aire de pasados inviernos sin fin. La leal cabra se lleva a la princesa, quien se vuelve por un instante para ver brotar las alas de Venus cubiertas de rocío. Flotando sobre un alba centelleante con inesperada facilidad, Venus divisa la convención de hadas y trasgus bajo el lujoso dosel. Las festividades paganas despliegan su pulso otoñal. "¿Es así cómo empezó todo?"
