This week we are back with a dark set delivered by @harpmusiic, twin brothers (@untitledsubdmusic & @dealmeidasp) from Brasil. .subd made his debut last year and left quite an impression. His brother is also not new to making deep journeys, which made the duo inevitable to do a new mix for our podcast series. Their identical sound can be derived from their own productions as well as their label: @solidorecords. With hAarp’s first release on Fratii.ro last year, they launched their new alias collab and it won’t be the last one. Keep an eye out!

The Brazilian brothers made a considerable journey compressed into nearly 2 hours. Their selection is purely based on deep and dark gems, gathered together from friends and recent favorites. Expect a trip filled with rollin basslines, hypnotic elements, weird sounds and twisted vocals. Enjoy hAarp’s first podcast together!

Il s'agit de s'arrêter de d'aprécier le chemin parcouru.
C'était un 4 aout 2023, je postais "a sound waves story 01", enregistré en one shot. Le but était d’enchaîner plus de deux tracks, avec l'aide de "sync" et de "quantize" car je venais de débuter le DJing quelques semaines auparavant. Ce même soir, je me brûlais le visage au 2nd degré, et rien n'a jamais été pareil.
Un an plus tard, même exercice, également en one shot, une maturité musicale en plus, "sync" et "quantize" en moins. 
Le but de cette session était d’identifier mon « univers musical » et de réaliser ce podcast en un minimum de temps en partant de 0 track ( passant de 10 jours de prép’ à 12h).

From jazz to hip-hop, from house to ambient and musique concrete, a famous free-jazz pianist mother and a father bassist, it's the diversity of theses universes which allowed Thomas Romain to have a musical ear for different sonorities.
Electronic music seems to be the best way for him to link up theses ambiances. So it's naturally that he goes there 10 years ago…
In 2006, Thomas became resident of the prestigious Inox Electronic Club of Toulouse, France, for several years. It allowed him to play each week end with great artists such as Jeff Mills, Locodice and many many more… and made a real experience of djing for him.  He played three times consecutively for the biggest french indoor festival: Inox Electronic Festival.
Today freshly based in Berlin after a good bit of travelling, he is part of the INFORMAL team (based between Paris and Toulouse).
Now he is spending a lot of time on producing for different projects, especially a big one with her mother… stay tuned !
