Instead of stalagmites and stalactites, the walls are covered with the unique “Turold decoration,” which resembles coral reefs and stone foam full of small holes, pea-like protuberances and druses of fine calcite crystals.

Electronic project of french composer Agathe Max, OFIELD is mixing environmental sounds with effects and loops, creating a new kind of soundscapes for the imaginary land. This project was born after a residency in french area of Lozere on summer 2015 with the interdisciplinary artistic collectif Prisma. OFIELD is linked with the tradition of electroacoustic composition, it is therfore the continuity of Agathe Max's work.

Projet électronique de Agathe Max, le son de OFIELD est issu d’enregistrements de paysages sonores joués live à travers des effets et des boucles créant ainsi une nouvelle forme de territoires imaginaires, sans cesse renouvelés par le jeu d’improvisation.
Né en Lozère lors d’une résidence avec le collectif artistique et interdisciplinaire Prisma, OFIELD s’inscrit dans la tradition de la musique électroacoustique et montre l’intérêt toujours présent de l’expérimentation sonore de la compositrice française.
