Bridge to Neverland is Sarah Rae's full length album written as a tale of a journey. Where will the journey take you? What will you feel on the journey? Who will you meet on your journey? Weaving in, and out of post rock, and shoegaze elements this album was composed to really pull at your heart strings. Sarah Rae takes inspiration from bands like Cocteau Twins with their emotion over meaning, and other sources like Kate Bush, Lush, and operatic vocalist like Amy Lee, and Sharon den Adel. With the title track leading you down a painful, confusing self-worth journey, you move through the tracks of the album riddled with operatic ambiance, and soaring vocals to really try to ask the listener to step on to the Jolly Roger themselves, and take their journey off to the promised Neverland.

Sarah Rae is an independent artist, and Recording Academy member based out of Atlanta, GA. Starting music from the young age of 8, she sought to bring an abundant beauty in to the world mixed with vulnerability, and life-altering changes. She dropped music in her late teens, and pursued a career of beauty after finishing college with a Bachelor of the Arts in Literature & Music Theory. "I've never felt more connected to the collective," she muses about being signed to her first artist role under the label Bentley Records early 2021. She recollects the courage of starting her own business before the pandemic of 2020, and how that confidence pushed her back to her "first love" - music. Chasing music as a professional career in 2020, of persephone was born under the moniker of Sarah's name. March of 2022, Sarah Rae gave birth to of persephone to better embody her self-titled siren rock genre, and give more attention to her band, and their music.

The music behind of persephone is driven by a plethora of sounds combining dream pop, shoegaze, and pop punk to create soulful music, with clarity that brings you both dissonance, and harmony. They seek to balance both the ability to breathe life in to the listener with major progression, but also make them think with downward dissonance to create a clash the truly strikes your nerve. They consistently write about the expressions of life, and how they have managed to overcome the trials, and tribulations it has thrown at them. From the first released single "Dancing Sun" all the way to their first full length album, "Bridge to Neverland", Sarah Rae has been referred to by locals as the Atlanta Songbird. She strives to genre-bend, and has self-proclaimed her music as "siren rock" most recently to fully encompass the plethora of sound that is generated by her music. of persephone embodies this spirit with the full band comprising of Sarah Rae (front-woman), Steven Victor (guitarist), Chris Tinsley (bassist), and Nicholas Mays (drummer).
