Here you’ll find a collection of my club-oriented mixes, each one reflecting my style. I like to start easy, easing us into the vibe and setting the stage to connect. From there, the energy builds track by track, until the dance floor is fully alive. And when it’s time to close, I love ending with a sentimental track, the kind of song where you hope people fall into each other’s arms for the last dance as the club lights slowly come on.

Rotterdam-based Ofra is a record digger who loves to share her music always and anytime, whether it’s through an intimate listening radio show or a steamy nightclub set. A lover of Wave, New Beat, EBM, and Electro, she also holds a special place for Punk and Shoegaze music. Over the years, she has developed her own rich music palette as a DJ and curator. She co-founded the Rotterdam-based online radio station Operator and recently started her own label, Yarrow Ballet.

Last month, WOEIFM invited me to play for their monthly show on @operator.radio. I took the opportunity to create a New Beat special because, as a New Beat lover, I've always wanted to do that! 

Belgian New Beat, often just called New Beat, was an underground subculture and music scene that thrived in Belgium during the 1980s and 1990s. It was especially prominent in Antwerp and Brussels, and eventually gained widespread popularity across Western Europe.
