This song was inspired by World Marijuana Day. I believe marijuana is not as dangerous as alcohol and cigarette smoking so people shouldn't go to jail for it. "Ready To Be Loved" was written by Oga Chux on the Jahcoustix riddim. It was recorded about five years ago but was never released. It was mixed and mastered by Don Waxi in Ghana . Something for my cherished fans... Enjoy your day!!!

Ready To Be Loved

Oga Chux in collaboration with Afro Reggae Empire presents the first in a series of monthly riddim mixtapes, with the debut riddim tittled ‘Clean Heart’. 
Clean Heart riddim is a ‘one drop’ Reggae instrumentation which hopes to address the topics of consciousness and morality, on the African continent and in the diaspora; using music to enhance dialogue, collaboration and exchange. The riddim is open to artists across Africa and in the Diaspora available via email or download from the producer.
The riddim will be released in conjunction with the African Union day celebrations on 25th May, artists have a month to record and send their recorded, mixed and mastered versions back to the producer for screening and selection. The deadline for receiving recorded versions is 25th June 2016. The selected versions will make it on to the official mixtape to be hosted by Afro Reggae Empire.  Clean Heart riddim is the first in a series of riddims to be hosted by the Reggae platform A.R.E. collaborating with producers across the continent to bring artists, producers, and djs in contact with each other and their works.
