Diegesis: an album about being a character in the dream of the universal mind. A soundtrack to the ever unfolding story-machine that is reality. De-contextualised voices sing archetypal melodies over vivid ambient textures. Shifting layers of time-stretched samples are held together by dubbed out drums. A mood of melancholic bliss and ambiguity permeates throughout. Diegesis is an auditory reflection on the narrative nature of existence.

Olson is a regular collaborator with the ‘LOFS’ collective run by Number One, Oshi Moon, eleu, Jamie Genome and Adam Barnes.
Olson runs the LOFS x Crend Request Party ‘2 Crends Deep’ with the rest of the LOFS crew, not being afraid to stray away from his calmer ambient side he can be found regularly closing the night with an array of dance music spanning from jungle, footwork, techno and beyond. This can also be experienced with his dance floor focused releases on labels Audio Bambino and RLO.

The theme for LD36 was 'Ancient Technology', so I made this ambient soundtrack for our Bronzepunk entry exclusively using my Yamaha TX81Z from 1987. As always had a lot of sleepless fun!
