something to vibe and groove/zone out to for a bit. spacey and somewhat undefinable (maybe film score???). progresses through 3 parts, including a key and tempo change. lots of nuanced emotions in this and super visual. makes me think of a slow, successful (or was it successful?) getaway stowed in the back and only being able too see whats ahead of you. almost like a new sense of freedom that may work out, with trailing anxieties that are hard to forget. what does it matter though, it's always up for interpretation. 

anyways, everything but the drums and one subtle pad was created from the fantasy pack samples. i didn't use any loops (which I have nothing against). here's a list of the samples I used:

john farrell asked me to participate in a challenge of sorts. we both started learning the art of sampling, so he said to finish something in one or two weeks, can't use pre-cut samples (mostly), and have fun

ended up using a guitar track from one of john's college bands, the hemingways. all other samples are sort of random, wanted to push my creativity a bit. happy with the result :)
