Multiambient Tower-Trees Soundscape (3 minute sample)

Two years ago I created an electronic multiambient environment for the EPCOR Center +15 walkway. Last year I got the opportunity to compose a piece for the Calgary Tower Carillon. I'm very pleased to announce I am part of the 29th Annual High Performance Rodeo and I get to compose a soundscape for the Calgary Downtown Stephen Avenue Trees area. (January 2015)

There is so much happening in that particular area in terms of sound - competing outdoor restaurant sound systems that you can mix by walking back and forth, traffic, distant trains, people talking, ventilation systems and alarms going off...it's a great challenge to make a piece that will tie all of that together, and be harmonious. 

I hope people will stop, listen and take a moment to reflect on whatever it is that is taking their attention...and see how their internal voice mixes with the external sounds of this project...a bit of serenity in the chaos of the busy core of The City of Calgary.
