    i love to make music. 

current list of equipment     just added: Roland D-70 Super LA Synthesizer :)
attached to a 1202 mackie mixer: (4) Korg Polysix keyboard (5/6) Yamaha KX25 midi key controller which is midi linked to my Roland MC303 groovebox; (7/8) Roland MS-1 sampler; (9/10) a Shure SM57 mic which is connected to a Roland EF303 groove effects; 
and a Korg Kaoss Pad (first generation) connected to the Aux (1)
the main goes out to another mixer/ digital recorder Roland VS880.  i have this looped through my computer for recording and  then to my home stereo (awia digital, (2) acoustic research Ps2062, jbl bass16) for monitor listening.  i use a pair of Digital (aftermarket/no brand) headphones that have full spectrum sound (check your hz vs HZ when you buy your stuff, outside names are nothing without the inside tech.)  they have separate volume controls on each head piece.   i use a freeware to record its called Audacity.  its alright, its doing the job i need it to for now.  i have a stienberg Ai program i am learning to use..)  well that is what is connected and currently used to design and create what you are hearing.

     
i do not "master" my recording.  i try to make the studio recording as tight as it can be with out further post production work.  this is key for me, to sound like that when i perform live.    i do create music with multi tracking and post production adjustments, i have a basic homegrown recording studio. 
                                  
       performing at local Venues, Art studios, Micro Artist festivals, and open mics in Grand Rapids, MI area.
and a few gigs along the way....          
i have met a lot of great artists and musicians performing as Ohaus....since 1996

 (repeat) NONE OF MY TRACKS GET MASTERED...
     i didn't go to school for music.   i don't have an engineer or any technical assistants.     i record what i play,  some times i multi-track my original tracks just to ISOLATE certain sounds or brighten my pallet.  

     i create with  keyboards and drum machines.   live recordings and track recording....   i choose electronic to describe my music so as to not limit myself or my creations.   i record with a computer now a days much simpler for the advanced world.      i play with digital and analog machines.  i have been creating electronic music since 1989.
