Meine Aufnahme vom wundervollen Sa Terza Metari Festival 2022, in unserer herrlich vernebelten und verspulten Jurte, auf dem schönsten Campeggio Sardiniens. Mein Gehör hat es anscheinend auch stellenweise etwas vernebelt, aber schön, dass wir darüber hinweg tanzen konnten :)
Danke an alle, die mir dort die nötige Energie gegeben haben, um mit euch aus einer langen Nacht der Sonne entgegen zu grooven - es war soooo schön!

This is the recording of my Acidbogen debut, Saturday 28. Oct, 6-8 am.

A special one for me. Not only because of having been able to play on this boiling floor full of old and new smiling faces surrounding me, creating that kind of atmosphere that I absolutely love when playing (people in front, next, behind and -it felt like - on top of me). But moreover because of being able to play before @ninze & @niju-1, whose music has brought me one of the first otherworldly emotional downtempo experiences I have ever had. That was years ago. Ever since, I admired their musical craft. Fast forward. 

Meanwhile, my own artistic identity has evolved and I can read my name next to those who, among many others over time, have inspired me in the very beginning. Thank you @talderverwirrung, especially @ju_nixe, for giving me this opportunity!

The request came kind of short term and my first impulse was that it would be too much, playing twice on an already packed weekend and having to deal with grief over the recent loss of a very special person in my life. A person, whom I connect my very early musical memories with. 
However, some inner voice told me to turn on the "full power mode" and so I got things settled and decided to let my intuition guide me through the musical journey. And it did! 
I hope you enjoy my truly emotionally mixed expedition into spheres of grief and sadness, anger and vulnerability, but also cheerfulness and peace, at last.
This one is for you. 🕊️

My personal highlight 2022. Meeresrausch Festival, playtime 2 - 4.30 a.m. into a beautiful sunrise.

WOW, WHAT A YEAR THIS HAS BEEN!!! A rollercoaster ride in any manner, on a personal as well as on a musical level. It was the year I played the most festivals and still I haven’t uploaded any of the recordings. It just felt like those months were meant to be purely dedicated to the magical moments and encounters with people on site - be it new or old friends (you know who you are 🤟🏼).

This set is by far not mixed perfectly. The experience, however, to me was the most perfect one in 2022: A bunch of friends surrounding me on the floor and the booth, the opportunity to play after and before artists I admire (shoutout to @umamiinspace and @bonjourben !) and, after all,  the most incredible vibe and energy you, the crowd, brought about until the very last second of the set. What magic!

So here it is - my wildest uptempo journey of 2022, containing some catchy edits, tech-housy dance vibes, some darkness at first and some uplifting energy and cheesiness towards the end (my favorite). As always, accompanied by driving sahrabass lines and proper bounciness.

Wanda Wild!!! Kleiner Funfact... das ist ihr gebürtiger Name.

Von der ersten Minute an hat sie uns musikalisch und menschlich überzeugt.
Ihr Sound ist dramatisch und melodisch. In ihren Sets spiegeln sich eine Reihe an Emotionen wieder, die sie durchs tägliche Leben begleiten. 
Wir wollen sie euch mit einem Wuza Waves vorstellen, außerdem werden wir sie auf unseren nächsten Events öfter dabei haben, damit ihr sie selbst erleben könnt. 

Wir selbst haben sie bei unseren Freunden im Bahnwärter Thiel kennengelernt, wo sie Resident ist.

Die knarzenden Gatter des Basskarltheaters öffnen sich auf 1 Neues und siehe da - ein wildes Bu**enschwein erscheint. Leider Gottes eher ständige Realität als seltenes Pokémon…

Glücklicherweise belegte der aktenkundige Staatfeind @maxmarlon kürzlich einen dreieinhalbwöchigen Basstelworkshop an der VHS Berlin Pankow und hat uns aus diversen Grunzlauten und Filetstückchen von DJ Hornhaut und SachsenTrance ein gemischtes Hack aus dem Wolf gepresst, das mit dem wortwörtlichen Saustall unseres derzeitigen Pozileiapparats aufräumt.  

Doch ist der Missbrauch der exekutiven Staatsgewalt kein Einzelfall: Erste Belege gehen sogar bis ins Spätmittelalter zurück, als um das Jahr 1312 der damalige Präsident der Polizeigewerkschaft Bullfried Hampelmann unter Anweisung des amtierenden Kaisers Peinlich VII. einen frühpubertierenden Bauernjungen schamlos exekutieren ließ, weil er sich nach 16 Stunden Buckelei auf dem Erdapfelfeld seines unsympathischen Stiefvaters zum verdienten Feierabend eine Haschischpfeife anzündete. 

Etwas verspätet fordern wir deshalb ein nachträgliches Symbolurteil gegen den damaligen Vollzugsbeamten und die Wiedereinführung der Schweinegrippe. Anzeige ist raus. Petition zum Teilen folgt.

🎵 Ursprung dieses KataHaifisch special Podcasts ist eine ausgelassene Partynacht in der Hauptstadt an der Spree. Genauer gesagt waren Naicet & zaharaa drekk am 21.01.23 im Ritter Butzke, bei einer Veranstaltung von 3000Grad zu Gast. Kompromisslos konsequent kurbelten die beiden die Stimmung auf dem Dancefloor kontinuierlich nach oben. Schonungslos wurden treibende Basslines, scharfkantige Hats und markante Synths auf die tanzenden losgelassen. Dieses Live-Recording hält diesen Auftritt auf immer dokumentiert und für alle zugänglich.

Bio:
Ohdus took his first and ambitious steps on his journey towards the spirit of Berlin’s dance floors on classical piano and not so classical breakdance background. After starting to drop his favourite tunes in the middle of the concrete jungle he grew up in, he was always seeking for badass rhythms filled with deep and dark driven melody lines, getting ready to deliver them to the capital’s dance floors. Once arrived in Berlin, he was quickly offered the chance of a residency, which figured out as his field of experimenting with psychedelic sounds, dark ambiences, deep harmonies and beats with ass shaking attitude.

In his productions he combines his feeling for forward movement, dark but touchy leads and the moments of unpredictable breakdowns. No matter if slowdown or melodic techno, his tracks are dance floor focused, keeping the heat of busy club nights to pick up listeners where they individually stand, in order to take them on a ride through his musical universe. Always up for the next floor catcher to serve in form of tracks and DJ sets, he now also works on a melodic live set , as the next logical step of his musical development.
