Distance Instrumental - Demo

Hai friends! I’m happy to share my demo version of Distance. 
Distance is completely different from how I normally create songs yet it has the same feeling when it comes to sound creation and mixing. I usually create rhythmic sounds on my own with synth keys. 

With Distance, I mixed sample midis and drum loops. This was really fun because it felt like I was dj’ing the sounds altogether. Like a different test to myself. It felt the same way with sound creation. Finding the right sounds that go together like a story that happens and you keep adding as you go and as your days go. The distance in-between everything that’s so connected with creation. Then with mixing I always do my best to listen carefully on how to level in and out sounds and how they sound altogether etc. I rely on my ears and the internet entirely haha! I like to think it works (: 

I do sing along to this and can't wait to release the final version. 
For now, I like to share the instrumental since it’s been some time! 
In it for a lifetime. Whenever the time is right.

"Night Drives" was a song I created for a singing project song “Champagne Sampler” by @fuzzyvisionrecords. The music here I did not produce but did come up with the lyrics to it. I am pretty good at forming songs around music that has already been created. Open to collaborations, always.

Wrote this song on valentines day and 4 days later I'd like to post a raw version of it.  Just the vocals and playing the microkorg synth. Getting more comfortable with what's on my mind and how it would sound. Always open to suggestions and collabs. Let the music speak.

Palm Reader

The song "Universe Calling" was emotionally inspired by a lonely weekend alongside listening to “Lights” new release “Skin&Earth Acoustic” album. Towards midnight before sleep, my thoughts about who I was as person, who I like to become, and what I love to do sparked my creativity and ultimately got me through the feeling of loneliness. I looked outside my window at the moon and used that as my starting point for the song. The next day I completed the song and practiced the vocals on the vocoder option on the micro korg s synth. I loved how the reverb sounded because it went perfect of the whole “Universe Calling” theme. The Universe to me is something larger than life, something beyond human reality, and serves as optional guidance if we want and allow ourselves to connect with. Connection with? To me it is still a practice and I have no actual regime or complete thought for it but I do feel spiritual connection with my own personal intuition, when butterflies pass by me, and when I see angelic numbers and search for their meanings. Yoga and meditation have also helped me become more aware and spiritual with myself when I do practice. I am sending out this song to the Universe.
