I guess these two #lovely fellows I don't have to introduce when you hang out in the #dubby genre?! Actually they shaped my knowledge of the present independent artists scene quiet well. And I can say, they are part of my own developement in the last years, in particular because of their continous support they gave me. But if you didn't hear from those two brothers yet: Oldschool Dubtechno Producer are an electronic music collective from Siberia, who create music in the dub techno genre. They strive to create music that is #deep, #atmospheric and #minimalistic, yet #meaningful and #intelligent, #reflecting their #mood, #emotions and #surroundings. 

The guys also manage the Siberian (Russia) dubtechno label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB]. Which has produced more than 60 artists to date from all over the world. The label also releases a series of dubtechno podcasts DUBBISM. 


"We love #dubtechnomusic & #deeptechno in all its #manifestations.
Our mission is to unite #dubtechno #lovers from all over the world.More music. Everyday. Join now!" Their label also established pretty fine and the releases you find regularly in my sets. For me, it has a very special meaning that they followed my invite to contribute with a set for MLD, because they were one of the first big podcast channels who has invited me as an absolutly no name, guess it's two years ago..very honoured I was allowed to bring a follow up some months after...

For our 6th audio adventure into the Frontier we welcome American Dj and Producer, hailing from New Jersey - Eric Louis

Eric Louis is a DJ/producer with  refined taste & skills both behind the decks and in the studio. 

Eric’s early experiences came from the days of big NYC night clubs as he was an assistant  at Deeper Rekords, where he gained early production experience crafting edits that became staples in the marathon sets of Sound Factory foreman Jonathan Peters, an iconic Manhattan DJ renowned for his weekly Saturday residency & legendary theme parties. 

In the 2010’s he released on NYC Nervous, Berlin’s Get Physical & Victor Calderone’s Matter. 

In 2021, Eric launched his own imprint, Devilish Affair, as a platform for his signature dub-leaning sounds. The label's quality shines through its diverse roster and distinctive aesthetic. With 13 standout releases to date, Devilish Affair pairs futuristic, Bladerunner-inspired visuals with a forward-thinking musical identity—a combination we wholeheartedly celebrate.

For this Frontier mix, Eric delves into the sounds that define both him and his label, blending a variety of current releases with a treasure trove of unreleased gems. The sounds and genre will always have a place on this cloud but, remarkably, I have never curated a dedicated series. Our next guest Andrey PUSHKAREV has a particular way of wrapping the listener in an endless blanket of warm resonant chords, slowly subduing them into a contemplative trance. Hailing from the hardened landscapes of Russia, he has made a name for himself as a top purveyor of deep, dubby grooves that uplift into insight. Using music as a medium, he externalizes the infinite complexities of his reality into a simple yet all-encompassing passage of sound. Icelandic's producer and DJ Ohm, 
has continued to stay true to the spirit of techno. 
Thru the 1990s, Ohm learned a deep foundation of the growing worldwide techno surge that by 1999, 
he felt he was creative and eager enough to start writing his own music. 
Success came quickly with his debut; a collaboration with fellow Icelandic legend Exos on Force Inc records. 
This led to over 20 releases since on standout labels like Thule records, Rawax, Kontakt, Solid Groove., Taped Artifact, Ranges, Vade mecum , 
Vuo records and AE Recordings, and AE recordings Ltd, which he co-ran with Octal Industries and Thor from Thule Records.
A chance meeting in a Berlin records store with Andrey Puskarev and Pola led to releasing some music on the acclaimed All In Records and their sublabel Nilla. Shortly after, 
a release on Andrey's own label Luck of Access with Octal Industries followed. 
Now Copenhagen based, his DJ career is equally impressive having been a regular guest at the hottest spot in his area, Culture Box. 
In the past, gigs at Germany's Tresor along with various places all around Europe to clubs back home in Iceland, 
Ohm's style of DJing is the culmination of over 30 years in the techno scene. Being a beloved personality in the scene, 
Recently, Ohm has started his own imprint, OHM Series. 
This label focuses on having releases that feature a mixture of well-beloved veterans and some vibrant new names pushing techno's sonic boundaries.
Highlighting this balance is a prime example where his techno integrity is the cornerstone of its operation. 
He's blending tried and true techno sounds with techno's next visionaries which we can all agree that is a worthwhile endeavor for the direction. 
Ohm also runs two shows on Timeline music online platform. 
One showcases some of the best Danish artists for the last 2 years and a second show sees him playing the latest promo's he receives from industry connections and friends. 
So, what does the future hold for Ohm? More of it all in short. More new Ohm music productions and remixes. 
More top-notch music on his label OHM Series. More DJ gigs and more online shows.
