Welcome back to the days of "Walking Through Time". 

Above the Sea, Below the Stars is my longest journey to date, drawing inspiration from both old and new influences on my musical explorations. Many of the tracks featured here have been sitting in my library for some time now, waiting for the right fit to come along. Mixed with some recent releases, they combine to form a soundscape fit to soundtrack an ethereal adventure through time. 

As a last note, the title of the mix is a nod to @abovebelowfestival. My two days there are some of the most enjoyable I've ever spent at a festival, and a huge inspiration for wanting to push myself to put together this long form project.

I asked my good friend Sirko to make a set for the shows. He has a track on the next Ohm series , number 6 . so like usual ,, i play the first hour and my guest finishes things off.

Nico grew up in a small coastal town in Galicia in the late 80s. In 2008, he started to involve himself with deeper shades of electronic music and their profound sentimental atmospheres. His interest became an obsession, and within two years he began to play in clubs across the Spanish northwest. 

According to the artist, he was influenced by a golden generation of local DJs who helped define and shape his sound in terms of dance music, along with a rounded love of legendary bands and artists from across the musical spectrum. His musical philosophy is that everyone has something to bring, so there is always something to learn. 

In 2015, Nico moved to Barcelona, expanding his horizons both artistically and personally. He’s currently  one of the residents of the renowned Nitsa Club, and together with the duo Binomi, is responsible for HIRU, a multi-venue party across the city designed as an ode to club culture.

Nico prefers not to pigeonhole himself into any particular style, but his sets are nothing short of hypnotic. When he plays, he looks for that peculiar sensory union with the dance floor that connects them without words, seeking to lead the night in the same direction together.

After 4 years, Void is back on Agos with his 4th Album. REM is a dreamy and cinematic release and it's Void's take on ambient music. Inspired by dreaming and the importance of sleep, this album represents a journey into the deeper realms of our minds. To close the album we have a special collaboration between Void & Materia with the track Adenosine.

REM will be out next Sunday on the 3rd of September.

This week Trevor Linde delivers an ecstatic and deep mix for our Podcast Series straight from Prague, Czech Republic.

As a member of the Polygon crew, he's been responsible for

Tom Bonaty [ Prologue ] Germany

Tom Bonaty (Label Head Prologue) deals with electronic music since 1989. His style is strongly influenced from the old Ultraschall Club in Munich. The imprint’s head got his start in electronic music in the late ’80s, DJing and working in a local record store for years before starting his first label, Treibsand, with two friends. Treibsand was a short-lived affair, beginning in 1999 and abruptly stopping in 2000, but it was an important one. Through its releases, Tom became even more and more better friends with local and international DJs like Cio D’or, Fanon Flowers, Patrick Skoog, Alex Flatner. After a short break in managing labels he started to build up Prologue in 2008 to fullfill own vision of electronic music label and with the idea to supporting friends to publish Techno Music. Tom’s sets are characterized by deep atmospheric electronic Techno music with this kind of driven and dirty techno even designed for Techno Clubs. He played in several locations in Europe together with Donato Dozzy, Ben Klock, Lucy, Gorgio Gigli, Dino Sabatini, Dario Zenker.

Icelandic's producer and DJ Ohm, 
has continued to stay true to the spirit of techno. 
Thru the 1990s, Ohm learned a deep foundation of the growing worldwide techno surge that by 1999, 
he felt he was creative and eager enough to start writing his own music. 
Success came quickly with his debut; a collaboration with fellow Icelandic legend Exos on Force Inc records. 
This led to over 20 releases since on standout labels like Thule records, Rawax, Kontakt, Solid Groove., Taped Artifact, Ranges, Vade mecum , 
Vuo records and AE Recordings, and AE recordings Ltd, which he co-ran with Octal Industries and Thor from Thule Records.
A chance meeting in a Berlin records store with Andrey Puskarev and Pola led to releasing some music on the acclaimed All In Records and their sublabel Nilla. Shortly after, 
a release on Andrey's own label Luck of Access with Octal Industries followed. 
Now Copenhagen based, his DJ career is equally impressive having been a regular guest at the hottest spot in his area, Culture Box. 
In the past, gigs at Germany's Tresor along with various places all around Europe to clubs back home in Iceland, 
Ohm's style of DJing is the culmination of over 30 years in the techno scene. Being a beloved personality in the scene, 
Recently, Ohm has started his own imprint, OHM Series. 
This label focuses on having releases that feature a mixture of well-beloved veterans and some vibrant new names pushing techno's sonic boundaries.
Highlighting this balance is a prime example where his techno integrity is the cornerstone of its operation. 
He's blending tried and true techno sounds with techno's next visionaries which we can all agree that is a worthwhile endeavor for the direction. 
Ohm also runs two shows on Timeline music online platform. 
One showcases some of the best Danish artists for the last 2 years and a second show sees him playing the latest promo's he receives from industry connections and friends.
