Gone By

Growing up in a musical home and being surrounded by music ever since put the enjoyment of music in Jesse’s heart at an early age.  From his first forays into trombone during middle school, to being self-taught on bass guitar through reading music and playing by ear, Jesse has been influenced by a wide range of styles throughout his 25+ years of creating, performing and recording.  He has been part of cover and original bands, but feels most at home creating original music for live audiences and recordings.  While bass guitar remains the foundation, he also enjoys making music on acoustic guitar, tabla, and mridanga.  This experience and knowledge of varied instruments and styles equips Jesse to bring a unique insight to music production, blending stringed instruments, voices and percussion with samples, loops and software synthesizers.  Downtempo grooves, ambient soundscapes and alternate mindscapes help cultivate the right atmosphere for a yoga practice, quiet mediation, or just chilling.

I have a small home studio using Sonar X2 Producer, various bass guitars, electric guitars, microphones, hand drums, keyboard controller and upright bass.  My tunes are a mix of organic instruments, samples and virtual instruments.
