The band's debut single, Bamboo Hut is a slab of outrageously infectious, anthemic power pop. The shamelessly horny vocal, builds to an unhinged crescendo over a plethora of hypnotic sub base tribal drums, trashy guitars and electronic drips and squeaks.

The Styrafoamkid remix sees Bamboo Hut transformed into a prowling, Goldfrapp-esque groove. Styrafoamkid is noted for his hugely successful collaboration Time Of Our Lives with Paul Van Dyke with the band Vega4, as well as numerous releases on the Ministry of Sound/Cream compilations.

Remixed by Gella, the song is turned into a skittering electro bop reminiscent of Basement Jaxx at their most hysteric. One of the heroes of the London breakbeat scene, Gella came to prominence in 2008 for his remixes for Baobinga and ID, Unique 3, Elite Force and Merka and for his work with Bassrock and Mutate Records.

Stripped back to basics, Bamboo Hut is given a hypnotic Dubstep make-over by DJ & producer Swell. Swell is the label manager of seminal dance imprint Botchit & Scarper as well as rising Dubstep label Studio Rockers.

Hooligan Night

Described as a “vixen-fronted Electro Punk juggernaut”, Hooligan Night are emerging as one of the most exciting female-fronted UK bands in recent memory.

Formed by apocalyptic pin-up Ruby Blues and production maestro Nick Diezel, the formidable line-up also includes Alabama 3 keyboard player Orlando Harrison, The Soho Dolls drummer Paul Stone and guitarist Gus Robertson.

Fast becoming known for their electrifying live shows; the razor-sharp edges of their hook-laden, electro-trash Rock n Roll are offset by the barbed lyrics and purring vocals, delivered to maximal effect by Ruby’s towering stage-presence which has led to comparisons to the likes of Siouxie Sioux, Debbie Harry and Karen O.

The resident band at Glastonbury festival’s cult sensation Trash City, where they headlined the main stage in 2008 &amp; 2009, Hooligan Night played London's legendary ICA and Roundhouse venues in the Spring of 2010 and are set to storm the Summer with a string of UK festival dates, including Glastonbury, The Secret Garden Party and Standon Calling.
