3 QUESTIONS to BAIME:

Q: How did you meet each other and how did you get into producing together? So: Who is Baime?

A: We actually met online! And shortly after met at Q and A in Copenhagen where we both live, it’s about 6 years ago and one year later we joint together as Baime because we both where eager to create something that made sense musically to us as artist and DJs.

Q: When regarding your roots, many early influences appear. What do these tracks still mean to you?

A: Many of the tracks in the mix we still listen to from time to time and some of them we even would play today. These tracks are some of the Electronic Music that shaped who we are musically today and they are still great for Inspiration. 

Q: Which Projects will be hot after the Corona shutdown - what to expect from you guys in the future?

A: As many others we are using this time to reflect on who we are and where we are going. When things get back to “normal” the game may have changed and we are definitely trying to stay on top of things both as Baime and with our record label Blindfold Recordings.

With a love for music and technology, the decision to pursue a career in electronic music was not too difficult. Applying it in a traditional society, however, was the challenge.
Completing high school, Uncuoglu started working at CD LAND, importing foreign LPs and the first CDs to Istanbul. Collecting a vast knowledge of the current dance music, he was approached with offers to DJ at private parties. In 1987, he began accepting the offers, and started his DJ'ing career.
Uncuoglu's career took a real professional turn when he released his music on the best labels in the industry such as Innervsions, Afterlife and more..

already in the year of 1994 "Hardy Heller" began to organize events under the registered trademark "Ohral". starting from a successful and thrilling party in his hometown a series of parties has developed. Further events and fargoing strings of events at the most different locations / cities but always carefully chosen with a lot of smartness followed and thus a community has developed that has grown in the course of time and has spread over the original region.

ohral on the one hand is dedicated to working as an organizer of parties and on the other hand works busily as an agency that books artists.

after our artists played quiet often at several radio stations we started from march 2003 on our own radio show named "Groovedelic", which was broadcasted by "Sunshine Live" on weekly base. even today we are having our own radio show named "Ohral On Air" which is now broadcasted live by "Evosonic Radio" every wednesday from 8 - 9 pm (MEZ).

Since the end of 2011 the marketing of our artists and artists who are close to our ohral family respectively belong to our poertfolio under the label name of “ohral recordings” / “ohral b recordings" / "ohral c recordings"

In 2019 we also started our own "Ohral Podcast" -  its about music, dj mixes, interviews, competitions as well as general news from our small but very creative and successful "ohral universe".
