Currently based in Denver, Viktop originally hails from Miami and has built a name for himself the old fashioned way— through hard work, producing music and being a resident at Miami’s Do Not Sit on the Furniture club, building fans one beat at a time.

His sound can be described as warm beautiful melodies combined with big groovy bass lines and a touch of class. With releases out on Loot Recordings, Wayu Records, Suprematic and others to name a few, we’ll be releasing his track “Snow Angel” as a part of The Goods, Vol. 3 later this month. Keep an eye out— the future is bright and Viktop is one to watch!

After such great comments and messages for my spotlight guest mix for the Love and Above podcast, I decided to carry on the legacy and integrity of that concept with a new series called ‘SelfSoul’.  More of an individual affair; this is the music that really inspires and motivates me.. Electronica with heart and soul, defying the trendy barriers, moving away from the comfort zone….searching and only focusing for the reality, creativity and originality.

This set was recorded in July 2024, during my last show at Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Miami's favorite South Beach nightclub and a venue that has been home to me for so many years. It's a personal favorite. It's sound system and intimate setting allows you to dive deep into musical journeys.  

I want to honor this venue by sharing with you this very special mix, filled with a lot of my latest groovy creations, including my latest release 'Aladanza'. For the past year I've been tapping back to my roots incorporating vocals and getting heavier with the percussive grooves, creating my own signature swing. 

I am dedicating this mix to Behrouz and the whole DNS crew who have always shown me tons of love for my music. Enjoy!

already in the year of 1994 "Hardy Heller" began to organize events under the registered trademark "Ohral". starting from a successful and thrilling party in his hometown a series of parties has developed. Further events and fargoing strings of events at the most different locations / cities but always carefully chosen with a lot of smartness followed and thus a community has developed that has grown in the course of time and has spread over the original region.

ohral on the one hand is dedicated to working as an organizer of parties and on the other hand works busily as an agency that books artists.

after our artists played quiet often at several radio stations we started from march 2003 on our own radio show named "Groovedelic", which was broadcasted by "Sunshine Live" on weekly base. even today we are having our own radio show named "Ohral On Air" which is now broadcasted live by "Evosonic Radio" every wednesday from 8 - 9 pm (MEZ).

Since the end of 2011 the marketing of our artists and artists who are close to our ohral family respectively belong to our poertfolio under the label name of “ohral recordings” / “ohral b recordings" / "ohral c recordings"

In 2019 we also started our own "Ohral Podcast" -  its about music, dj mixes, interviews, competitions as well as general news from our small but very creative and successful "ohral universe".
