The beginning of musical-drum interests go back to my childhood in Cottbus and mother’s kitchen, when I used to drum the “kitchens instruments”. Later on, when continued using the music programs offered by Playstation and Re-Birth 2.0 on PC. Vinyl experience, which gained on private shows and partys.
Now make music (a mix of Breaks/IDM/Jungle/Drum&Bass Sounds) on KORG R3, Synthi-Vocoder, KAOS-Pads, Ableton-Live, Field-rec. and resampling.

New on Pharmacom Records is Ohrchitekt's "EXP-DNB-Set" - an approx. 52 minutes non stop journey into his specific Drum'n'Bass realm which is jam-like, lead by non standard beats and breaks, Electronica influences and some Electro and Downtempo breakdowns. Some will call it Leftfield Drum'n'Bass, some will name it as experimental, which is what "EXP" in the albums title stands for I reckon, and some will refer to it as IDM or DarkJungle rather than Drum'n'Bass. But whatever definition you choose, this one is interesting and defo stands out from what your everyday producer serves on 12" these days. Recommended to open minded people and not to those who expect UK-standards whenever they think of experimental Drum'n'Bass these days.

hier hört Ihr den ohrchitekt.de. Angefangen hat alles damals in der Urheimat Cottbus in Mutters Küche mit ihren Töpfen, Pfannen und Schüsseln, so wie diversen Kochlöffeln zum draufschlagen.

Seitdem dann (1996) „Informatik“ ein Thema war und ich etwas später meinen ersten Laptop hatte, wurden Klänge, Sounds und folglich Musik mit diversen Programmen wie Re-Birth 2.0 (2002), Ableton-Live, Logic, samplitude, etc. und mit Hardware wie dem KORG-R3, Synth-Vocoder, KAOS-pads, Fieldrecorder fabriziert.
