Although the 20-year-old Australian, Jamie Fitzgerald, stage name Oh’Sabi!, is actually from Bathurst (near Syndey), he may as well be Melbourne (Bounce)’s most wanted. The Electro House subculture that had its major breakthrough in 2013 (thanks to a one Will Sparks) has become a go-to style of production and remixing for its “kick-bass” simplicity and appeal.

In a seemingly endless sea of Melbourne Bounce, Bounce Police, thelatest release on Snap! Music, stands out, ironically for Oh’Sabi!’s unique manipulation of a commonly heard sample. If only a police siren always meant something this good.
