Gliese 581 g /ˈɡliːzə/, also Gl 581 g or GJ 581 g, is an unconfirmed extrasolar planet claimed to orbit the red dwarf star Gliese 581, about 20 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Libra. It is the sixth planet purportedly discovered orbiting the star. The discovery was announced by the Lick-Carnegie Exoplanet Survey in late September 2010, after a decade of observation. However, the ESO/HARPS survey team was not able to confirm that the planet exists.
Gliese 581 g has attracted attention because it is near the middle of the habitable zone of its parent star. That means it could sustain liquid water on its surface and could potentially host life similar to that on Earth. (The planet is expected to have temperatures around −37 to −12 °C, however). If it is a rocky planet, favorable atmospheric conditions could permit the presence of liquid water, a necessity for all known life, on its surface. With a mass 3.1 to 4.3 times Earth's, Gliese 581 g is considered a super-Earth and is the planet closest in size to Earth known in a habitable zone. This makes it the most Earth-like Goldilocks planet found outside the Solar System and the exoplanet with the greatest recognized potential for harboring life.
The supposed detection of Gliese 581 g after such a short period of searching and at such close proximity has led some astronomers to hypothesize that the proportion of stars with habitable planets may be greater than ten percent.

The monument is a lone poplar tree planted by a Buddhist monk named Bagdohna Hurlin Purdash Lam in 1846. Natural monument is located in the untouched region of Kalmykia on the southern slope of the Khamur ridge, 5 km from the village of Khar-Buluk in the South of Yergeney.

Performance made in Lugansk regional museum of local lore

Concept
Tempornaments is an interdisciplinary project devoted to new approaches to investigation, preservation and reinterpretation of immaterial «acoustic heritage» of European industrial societies using language of media-art. It was developed by art-cluster R+N+D in conjunction with Lugansk regional museum of local lore during art-residency "Depressurization of museum Universum" in 2013. In the focus of research are old mechanical watches and clocks as one of the symbols of West-European civilisation that reflect its tendencies to space-time discretization due to progress of Cartesian and Enlightenment philosophy.


In the context of project some prerecorded material with sounds of different working watches and clocks from collection of Lugansk regional museum of local lore was transformed and reconstructed by Ukrainian sound-artists from art-cluster R+N+D (Anton Lapov, Oil Texture and Spayo Ventax). That work resulted in three electroacoustic pieces – some kind of sound pictures of image of Time. Vj Breakpoint also made his own visual dimension interconnected with sound “triptych”. All this individual approaches was fused in collective art-work realised in three variations – audiovisual performance, exposition museum installation and media installation.

Computer as basis of information society could be seen as descendant of mechanical watch. Today, inner clock speed of processor is a pulse rate of World. Dealing with nature of temporality through Sound manipulations, digital sound-art and computer music could be considered as specific quintessence of cultural phenomenon of mechanical Time.

From museological point of view, it should be noted that museum institutions have to maintain attention and make appropriate procedures aimed at new way of preservation and interpretation of acoustic heritage, recreation and modelling of sound environments of different historical periods via modern exhibition design, digital technologies and media-art practice. Acceleration of world’s change rate in second half of XX century lead to loss of whole sound universes which was labeled as «out-of-date» by extensive morality of wasting consumerism.

The Abode of Clouds.
Cheerapunji also called Sohra, Cherrapunjee and Charrapunji, is a town in East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth. However, nearby Mawsynram has more rainfall nowadays, and both are surpassed by Lloró, Colombia. Today, climatic changes have edged Cherrapunji out of the topmost 'wet' slot, but it still retains its pristine beauty, its unusual facets, the perpetual clouds, and the perpetual mists. Appropriately, Cherrapunji lies in the heart of the State of Meghalaya-the abode of clouds. It is the traditional capital of a hima which is a Khasi tribal chieftainship constituting a petty state known as Sohra or Churra. High above misty valleys and foaming rivers, ensconced in swirling clouds and perched on an escarpment, lies Cherrapunji (4,500 feet). Cherrapunji receives rains from the Bay of Bengal arm of the Indian summer monsoon. The monsoon clouds fly unhindered over the plains of Bangladesh for about 400 km. Thereafter, they hit the Khasi Hills which rise abruptly from the plains to a height of about 1370 m above mean sea level within 2 to 5 km. The winds push the rain clouds through these gorges and up the steep slopes. The rapid ascent of the clouds into the upper atmosphere hastens the cooling and helps vapours to condense. Most of Cherrapunji's rain is the result of air being lifted as a large body of water vapour. The extreme amount of rainfall at Cherrapunji is perhaps the best-known feature of orographic rain in northeast India. The home of enterprising Khasi clans, Cherrapunji's place in the Guinness Book of Records is not its only claim to fame. Along with falls lesser in height but no less alluring, the spectacular, cascading 1115-ft-high Nohkalikai Falls-the fourth highest in India-lie just a few kilometers beyond Cherrapunji. Mawsmai Waterfalls, also known as Nohsngithiang waterfalls measuring 1033 ft. Both of these falls are located in Cherrapunjee. They would be about 5-6 km apart. The latter is also a short distance away from Mawsmai caves--limestone caves, carved out by work of rainwater over millions of years. Close by is situated a fascinating labyrinth of underground passages beneath age-old caves-a veritable dream for amateur explorers.

Electroacoustic collage, that made in Max/MSP with a guitar loops feedback effect and field recordings made during a trip to the mountain Bogdo, located in the steppes of Astrakhan region. Field recordings were made near an abandoned small blue house located in the middle of a huge salt lake on the border of Russia and Kazakhstan. The lake is crossed by the railway, which moves the train carrying salt.

Указать на важнейшую духовную связь жителей с их городом, через то, что они слышат в своей повседневности. Записи делались в течении нескольких дней в различных частях города. На вокзале Сиркеджи, место, которое являлось конечной точкой прибытия  Восточного экспресса, пассажирского терминала культурно-исторического центра города, так же основной и ведущей темой данного звукового коллажа является запись поющего муэдзина, сделанная в храмовом дворе городской Мечети Султана Ахмеда, (Голубая Мечеть), которая является является одним из самых ярких и выдающихся образцов исламской и мировой архитектуры.

Oil Texture is a media artist and experimental music project, founded by UNIX/Linux systems engineer Vitaly Lebukhorsky, started in Luhansk, Ukraine in 2012.
Since 2014 I've lived in different countries and record material there on my recorder, portable shortwave receiver and DIY devices. Last years I lived in Ukraine and Latvia, now I live in Montreal, Canada.  The project works with such styles as Ambient, Field recordings, and experiments with radio communication.
