Charles Andre, aka Charles Fenkler is a young and talented French producer with a passion for techno and is set for his much anticipated second release with Soma. Bolstering on support roused in the underground techno scene from his well-received debut Anklam, Fenckler brings his signature fast-faced percussion in his deep and powerful techno tracks. He may be young but he continues to prove his knowledge and passion, merging influences from Europe and Detroit. Definitely one to watch as one of the Soma new breed 

Fenckler doesn’t mess about as title track Program starts off with all guns blazing. A powerful kick steadily thumps away as a mechanised lead welds this track together, straight up hi hats, rides and further stripped back percussion add to this dance floor monster.

The hypnotising Function drops next as Fenckler shows once again that less is definitely more. Looped out, ringing toms glide across another ferocious kick as the ever so slight delay across the rhythm make this a fast paced Detroit reminiscent track.

Subject Perform finishes the EP off in just the right way; by taking things up another notch! Fenckler creates great tension throughout this closing track, slowly releasing the arsenal of sounds at his disposal, again opting for a minimalistic approach to his production.
