What if we told you that you could enjoy the sound of tomorrow today, would you be interested? Forgive for getting all Morpheus on you - that's the black guy from The Matrix for all you teeny boppers out there - but we're a little bit excited here at Data Transmission HQ and Italian producer Lehar's latest production, Number One Hero,  is to blame. 

Making his debut on Diynamic’s sister label 2DIY4, we've been unable to get his new single - or its two accompanying remixes - off our office playlist since it arrived in our bulging inbox last month and so set about securing one of the record's three incarnations for exclusive premiere. 

Unfortunately for us, we were given the opportunity to have our pick of the litter. Much head scratching then ensued and after multiple shouting matches and a narrowly won vote, the ayes had it and we decided that Cologne producer Peter Pardeike's rework was ever so slightly more our cup of tea. That's not to say we don't love Engrave LTD boss Musumeci's version, we do, and with both are set to pick up heavy play in a club near you soon, we're sure you will too. The enigmatic Hyenah steps into the spotlight once again for its third Freerange release, with a remix by Frankey & Sandrino - that of which is premiering exclusively here on DHA.

Featuring on the track, The Idea, is SA’s Lazarusman who lays down his distinctive spoken-word vocals over powerful blasts of afro percussion-heavy beats on the very special remix from the German duo Frankey & Sandrino. Since their formation in late-2010, Frankey & Sandrino have released on the mighty Innervisions and Zurich-based Drumpoet regularly, in which their tracks received early spins from Dixon, Ame and Mano Le Tough.

The Idea will be release April 15th on vinyl via Freerange Records with eventual digital releases to follow May 6th.

About the Release :
The Cologne/Berlin based duo return to their Superfriends Records home once again for ‘Huso EP’.

Climbing to uncharted heights of dance-music popularity, Andhim have been releasing their distinguished style of sample-heavy ‘Super House’ since 2010, reaching the ears of the masses on some of the most celebrated labels around.

Demonstrating the pair’s eclectic and distinctly musical production style, ‘Huso’ kicks off the EP with Eastern-flavored melodies, soaring synths and low-slung drums that inject a momentum certain to ignite any dancefloor the track comes into contact with.

Synth stabs seep in and out of focus alongside off-kilter beats before exotic vocal samples help create a hypnotic aesthetic. Andhim’s huge gig-schedule has seen them bring their music to all corners of the globe. It’s also enabled them to pick up a wealth of influences that the world has to offer. The result is a stitching together of many different genres and styles, which makes each Andhim release an entirely unique affair. ‘Huso EP’ precisely demonstrates this and is sure to be a success among Andhim’s rapidly growing fan base all over the world.

After a strong Truesoul debut last September, Oscar L returns with a triple dose of groove. 

We got our first taste of Oscar L’s talents when he dropped the excellent ‘Konfusion’ EP in late summer 2018, a triple threat of ‘90s inspired house, punchy peak-time tech funk and the Spaniard’s skillful drum work highlighted throughout. As the weather starts to turn in our favour, it’s time to welcome him back to the clan for round two with his ‘Multiplayer’ EP.

The work kicks things off with ‘Monster Tube’, a deep roller that sees chunky percussion rub shoulders with dizzying arpeggiated melody lines. The EP’s title track follows, a cheeky vocal sample bringing verge and energy to the groovy bed of drums that sit beneath. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the triumvirate of tracks, working superbly as a functional and energetic DJ tool.
