Following Theodor Adorno’s idea of a factory of culture, I decided to conduct a compositional experiment: to transfer the process of combining elements in a factory into the way of composing a piece on tape. Just as in a factory many people usually work on single elements of a larger complex whole, so in our piece, each of the co-creators worked on the composition of a specific bandwidth without reference, either visual or sonic one, to other bandwidths. The final combination is “Mikserror”, the anti-mix, the negation of the sense of the mixing process, carried out at the end of the music production, in order to aesthetically bring out the harmonizing layers; it is just a stream of sounds limited by the equalizer.

La pièce Deux essences s’inspire de la théorie de la désintégration positive développée par le médecin, psychiatre, psychologue et philosophe polonais Kazimierz Dąbrowski.
La désintégration positive est le processus de développement interne de l’être humain, malgré et grâce à la crise et à la désintégration du monde extérieur. Ce sujet m’a vraiment ému : à notre époque, je constate une sorte de rejet de tout malaise. Kazimierz Dąbrowski s’est rendu compte qu’une partie de l’être humain consiste à traverser une crise et à faire face à des difficultés et à des douleurs qui, lorsqu’elles sont bien vécues, conduisent à une croissance intérieure. Il a décrit
ce processus comme formant la théorie du processus de désintégration positive, qui mène à la fin à l’intégration secondaire : l’équilibre et l’union de deux essences : personnelle et sociale. Le processus passe par cinq niveaux :
1. Intégration primaire
2. Désintégration à un niveau
3. Désintégration spontanée à plusieurs niveaux 4. Désintégration multiniveaux dirigée
5. Intégration secondaire
Cette formule a été la source d’inspiration parfaite pour l’écriture d’une forme en 5 mouvements pour soliste et orchestre. Ainsi, la flûte soliste représente l’essence personnelle et l’orchestre l’essence sociale. Chacun des mouvements est lié à l’étape du processus.

Prix Élan 2023
En 2021, l’Ircam et l’Orchestre national d’Île-de-France (Ondif) créaient le Prix Élan, un nouveau concours international de composition pour orchestre, réunissant l’orchestre et l’apport de l’électronique,« Île de créations », l’ancien concours de l’Ondif et l’académie ManiFeste. Les finalistes ont suivi un atelier de composition pour orchestre dirigé par la compositrice Isabel Mundry, avec la participation exceptionnelle de la compositrice Edith Canat de Chizy, et leurs œuvres sont jouées ce 24 juin. Ce concert présente aussi la première création avec électronique du lauréat de 2022, Alexandre Jamar. À l’issue du concert sera remis le Prix Élan 2023, doté par France Musique et la Maison de la Musique Contemporaine ainsi qu’une commande de l’Ircam et de l’Orchestre, pour une nouvelle œuvre intégrant l’électronique.
