A dramatic piano track, which starts small and builds continuously.

New Beginnings (Slow Burn Dramatic Piano Demo)

A 2 minute track composed for Orchestral Tools' competition. The brief was to create "a hopeful, inspiring piece of music" and this is what came to mind.

I wanted to incorporate foley into my track and made some recordings of sounds during my brief moments of escapism from isolation, including rain, walking in our local forest and even a sound bite from my nieces who live half way across the world.

This will be part of a 4 part series of tracks I have composed around ideas that were initially played on felt piano, which I find one of the most inspiring "out of the box" sounds. I have orchestrated out the parts to make it feel bigger and hopefully more epic.
