In 1989 in Wiltshire, UK, a BBC film crew inadvertently recorded a “blast of noise” in the centre of a crop circle. The camera was destroyed among a number of strange happenings. The recording revealed a high frequency 'chirp' that I have analysed at length in order to create a clean version free from wind noise and artefact. This synthetic tone sequence starts with the recording slowed x8, which then progresses up to the original frequency and back.
