OJorge Do Mundo brings in this first album called “Abissal” the idea of the rhythm mixtures along with his poetry, forming a unique sonority that's totally original.  
The poetries are sometimes concrete, sometimes abstract, they portray the real, and sometimes the unreal, because there is in their senses, not only a strong presence of the world we live in, but also, in a very palpable way, the presence of an imaginary world, full of colors and things, created by him. 
Everything seems to have been thought, so there’s a poetic connection between all tracks, not only the way it's coordinated in the presentation, but, also in a random way, “All tracks have connection”, he says. 
About the rhythms, rock’n roll interacts with the “maracatu” and a small stretch of “chula” in “Última Noite, Última Dança”. In “Erros a Sós”, the bass and the piano play the rhythm of the instrument “zabumba” of “quadrilha” (rhythm from the Brazilian Festa Junina ,that happens in June), mixed with rock’n roll. The effects are unheard-of. In “Nas Alturas” the instruments play “samba partido alto”, while the electric piano plays a rhythm that is similar to “choro”, alternating to “samba funk” with counterpoints from the trumpet, trombone and saxophone in the chorus. The accordion shines in “Pocket Show Desse Mundo Cão” and there’s a heavy “maracatu” in “Castelos De Fúria”, alternating the northeastern with the orchestrated Brazil.
You can hear that the rhythms change in the course of the music. In some stretches all the instruments play the same rhythm, while in another stretches the instruments vary the rhythms between themselves. 
These are explored with the purpose of mixing everything that we want without the cocern of  matching one with  the other, 
resulting in a way that the music sounds in the end like something new and extremely pleasant. Blend that with the poetries, and there you will find the proposal of the project.
Blues, rock’n roll with “xaxado”, reggae with “xote”, shuffle with Brazilian northeastern accordion rhythm, rock’n roll with “afoxé”, waltz, “maxixe”, jazz, among others, make this recording worthy of your senses. Increase the volume and join this world.
