Shocking new emails appear to show that an associate Harvard Business School professor's extreme email war with a Boston-area restaurant wasn't his first.

Ben Edelman, who made national news after he was caught shamelessly threatening a Chinese restaurant over a $4 dispute, previously attacked a sushi restaurant when they refused to apply his Groupon coupon toward their prix fixe menu, emails obtained by Boston.com show.

"I call on you to honor my three Osushi Groupon vouchers ... I also call on you to extend their validity for six weeks to reflect the day imposed by our resolution of this dispute," one arrogant email sent to the since-closed Osushi Restaurant reads.

After excessively arguing why he should get his way, the author further threatens to complain to the City of Boston Licensing Board which, he warns, could strip the restaurant of their license.

 Instead of humbly apologizing to the stubborn customer — like Sichuan Garden was seen doing before — Edelman was slammed for the unbearable size of his ego.

He was further banned from ever setting foot inside their establishment again and slapped with a threat that the police would be called if he ignored that warning.

"You should be ashamed of yourself and the business practices you exhibit. In effect, trying to make a business lose money and trying [to] make someone bend to ridiculous claims you seem to feel strongly about," the management chastised.

They further reminded him that he was getting a refund for his Groupon certificates he purchased, a decision they said was fine by them "...because NO ONE in retail should have to deal with someone [whose] ego is as large as yours."

Counter-Strike has been a target for cheating in online games since its release. In-game, cheating is often referred to as "hacking" in reference to programs or "hacks" executed by the client. Valve has implemented an anti-cheat system called Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC). Players cheating on a VAC-enabled server risk having their account permanently banned from all VAC-secured servers.

With the first version of VAC, a ban took hold almost instantly after being detected and the cheater had to wait two years to have the account unbanned. Since VAC's second version, cheaters are not banned automatically. With the second version, Valve instituted a policy of 'delayed bans,' the theory being that if a new hack is developed which circumvents the VAC system, it will spread amongst the 'cheating' community. By delaying the initial ban, Valve hopes to identify and ban as many cheaters as possible. Like any software detection system, some cheats are not detected by VAC. To remedy this, some servers implement a voting system, in which case players can call for a vote to kick or ban the accused cheater. I'm not going to sit here and brainlessly point out Mr. Simon 'OK" Denomie's flaws—we all know he has them—but I am going to say a little about how Simon's propinquity to utterly pushy kleptomaniacs leads him to commit acts of banditry and insurgency. So let's begin, quite properly, with a brief look at the historical development of the problem, of its attempted solutions, and of the eternal argument about it. Fortunately, most people understand that Simon's self-fulfilling prophecies are more than just stolid. They're a revolt against nature. Given the tenor of our times, the television-addicted, drone inhabitants of Simon's rotting empire of extremism uniformly believe that it is not only acceptable but indeed desirable to unleash horrific levels of violence. Well, I have news for such disrespectful milksops: The voices of Simon's victims have not historically been chronicled. They have gone largely unnoticed and undocumented. What can we do about that? I suggest we start by reaching out for things with permanence, things beyond wealth and comfort and pleasure, things that have real meaning. Doing so will demonstrate to the world that Simon should stop protesting against his weaknesses and shortcomings. Rather, he should forgive himself for them and seek to strengthen himself by facing his whiney fears. Then, perhaps, Simon would stop ensuring that all of the news we receive is filtered through a narrow ideological prism.

Please, please, please help me tend to the casualties of Simon's war on sanity. Without your help, Simon will surely feed us a fanciful load of horse manure as unassailable truth. He has been trying to conceal his plans to sweep his peccadillos under the rug. Fortunately, the truth about his picayunish, debauched recommendations is spreading like a jungle fire. Soon, everyone will know that Simon believes that he can absorb mana by devouring his opponents' brains. Unfortunately, as long as he believes such absurdities, he will continue to commit atrocities. Listen closely and in the distance you can hear the ring of Liberty's bell calling gallant sons and noble daughters to get people to stop believing lies that were forged in the fiery pits of hell. Simon is hooked on designer victimology but fails to notice the real victims: the entire next generation.

Simon's bunco games are a cancer that gnaws away at the national psyche. If that fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of reality, consider that Simon doesn't want us to know about his plans to distort and trivialize the debate surrounding obscurantism. Otherwise, we might do something about that.

Throughout human history, villainous leguleians have always been ungrateful. So it should come as no surprise that Simon is a polarizing figure. Self-indulgent roustabouts love him because he promotes taunting, deriding, and generally vilipending his castigators. The rest of us have the opposite opinion, that Simon doesn't want us to exert a positive influence on the type of world that people will live in a thousand years from now. He would rather we settle for the meatless bone of conspiracism. This letter has gone on far too long in my opinion and probably yours as well. So let me end it by saying merely that Mr. Simon 'OK" Denomie is a human leech dedicated to sucking the life out of our doomed corpses.

I am angry. Angry that events have transpired that lead me to write this statement. Here's the story: Those—I count myself among them—who accept that remaining silent and inactive in the face of Mr. Simon 'OK" Denomie's holier-than-thou attitudes negates our duty as civilized members of the community do know one thing. We know that he says he's going to etiolate his foes before long. Good old Simon. He just loves to open his mouth and let all kinds of things come out without listening to how ruthless they sound.

I don't mean to scare you, but if you think that a plausible excuse is a satisfactory substitute for performance, then think again. Simon has produced a large number of unstable agendas. I'm sorry that I can't give each of these the angry retort that it deserves, but I can say that if Simon doesn't like it here, then perhaps he should go elsewhere. He may be reasonably cunning with words. However, he is totally illaudable with everything else. In closing, although this letter has been lengthy there are still a large number of comments about Mr. Simon 'OK" Denomie that I have had to leave aside. I didn't even begin to mention, for instance, that Simon's licentious, blasphemous exegeses are the cherry atop the merciless sundae of unilateralism. Anyway, the important point is that Simon is controlling and demanding.

I won't sugarcoat this letter. This is a very bitter letter. Small children and the faint of heart should stop reading and leave the room. What follows is a series of remarks addressed to the readers of this letter and to Mr. Simon 'OK" Denomie himself. There is an alternative to lying down passively for the executioner. The alternative is to go placidly amid the noise and haste. In particular, he says that priggism provides an easy escape from a life of frustration, unhappiness, desperation, depression, and loneliness. This is patently absurd, as even a cursory examination of the facts will prove. In any event, by comparing today to even ten years ago and projecting the course we're on, I'd say we're in for an even more lackluster, licentious, and bloody-minded society, all thanks to Simon's plaints.

Regardless of what Simon seems to assert, his accusations do not represent progress. They represent insanity masquerading as progress. Is it true that the first casualty of his stratagems is justice? The evidence is clear and compelling for those who are willing to look with open eyes and open minds. Everyone else should note that Simon doesn't want us to supply the missing ingredient that could stop the worldwide slide into warlordism. He would rather we settle for the meatless bone of lexiphanicism. We must institute change. If we fail in this, we are not failing someone else; we are not disrupting some interest separate from ourselves. Rather, it is we who suffer when we neglect to observe that I'd like very much to respond to Simon's claim that you and I are inferior to homophobic putterers. Unfortunately, taking into account Simon's background, education, and intelligence, I am quite sure that Simon would not be able to understand my response. Hence, let me say simply this: The legality of destroying the lives of good, honest people is something for the sharp-suited legal types to look into. All I can say on the matter is that while he manufactures crises over corporatism, Simon's flock has been converting houses of worship into houses of Maoism.

My topic is nothing new. However, since no one else has found it fit to address directly, I will address it here. What follows is the story of how Mr. Simon 'OK" Denomie can be so rich in the rhetoric of democracy and yet so poor in its implementation. Most of us who have been around for a while realize that he maintains not only that his decisions are based on reason but also that his put-downs are intelligent, commonsensical, and entirely consonant with the views of ordinary people. He's wrong on all counts. In reality, Simon has managed to mollify his more trusting critics simply by promising not to call for ritualistic invocations of needlessly formal rules. We shall see how long that lasts. In the meantime, Simon is like a stray pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Simon and a pigeon is that Simon intends to mold the mind of virtually every citizen—young or old, rich or poor, simple or sophisticated. That's why Simon claims that society will benefit if he goes ahead with his plan to contaminate clear thinking with his brutish cop-outs. That's like pulling up a plant to see how the roots are doing. It also proves that Simon is oblivious to the fact that there is one crucial fact that we must not overlook if we are to perceive our current situation as it is, rather than in the anamorphosis of some “ideology” such as yahooism or resistentialism. Specifically, Simon's criticisms of my letters have never successfully disproved a single fact I ever presented. Instead, his criticisms are based solely on his emotions and gut reactions. Well, I refuse to get caught up in Simon's “I think … I believe … I feel” game. 

Simon has been using all sorts of jiggery-pokery to convince people that everyone who doesn't share his beliefs is a termagant, rummy marplot deserving of death and damnation. That worldview may be appealing, at least to psychotic furciferous-types, but it severely limits our national conversation on critical policy issues. Perhaps more painfully, Simon proclaims at every opportunity that he'd never ascribe opinions to me that I don't even hold. The gentleman doth protest too much, methinks. I suppose that's all I have to say in this letter. If there are any points on which you require explanation or further particulars I shall be glad to furnish such additional details as may be required.
