Η Σατραπεία του Καβάφη , ένα αγαπημένο μου ποίημα (One of my favorite poems by Constantinos Cavafy, The Satrapy).

Η Σατραπεία

gentle and clumsy finger picking with fresh strings.

Picture a knight, back in some old, forgotten century, tired, yearning to return to his love, riding with haste through the forest in the black of midnight, under the gentle, guiding light of the moon. Will he ever see her face again?
