This year I was honoured to once again be asked to overrun the incredible Lucky Star on Sunday afternoon at Splore. It's a magic time of the weekend to play, the sun was shining and one of my favourite humans, Dim Shady, played before me. For this set I asked another amazing soul, Miss B, to join me for the latter part of it for a bit of a back to back jam. She jumps on at around the hour and a half mark and it's 2 for 2 from there on out. 

Thank you to the Lucky Star Crew, especially Mels, Jonas and Fred, you guys are the heart of Splore and your hard work and determination is an inspiration! A massive thank you to my amazing Alley crew, the dancers, the lovers and the dreamers. Till next year. x

The 50th episode of the Lushpod marks the beginning of a new decade and new tools.  This Lushpod was recorded on a new Pioneer mixer, and is intended to be heard in full stereo.  At almost 208 minutes long, this mix is the second longest Lushpod.  Thank you for all the listens and support, as I look forward to continuing this labor of love. The "rapture" has often been hijacked by evangelicals to mean the end of time, but I prefer to believe in its initial definition of "a feeling of intense pleasure of joy." As we reach sixth week of quarantine, we are confronted with our sense of isolation, and it is getting harder each day.  We can't forget that this is all temporary, and that somewhere at the end of this road lies some sort of rapture.  This set was recorded in my bedroom to celebrate the birthdays of Nikki and Piper.

“OKAYFINE, I’ll become a dj.” That was how it all started. A surrender to the Universe. A belief in himself that was unwavering and continues to be to this day. House music is part of his blueprint. OKAYFINE's musical style is rooted in Deep/Organic house, but his sets span the genres of tech house,tribal/Afro house, melodic techno, progressive, deep tech and even some deep playa- down-tempo vibes. So far in his musical journey he’s opened as direct support for some of the biggest names in the international touring circuit(not a big fan of name dropping). His mission is to create a container of LOVE and TRUTH through the medicinal frequencies he weaves into his sets.
