I have always enjoyed listening to Atmospheric Jungle, but I have only been collecting more and playing Atmospheric sets and mixes in recent years.  Photek is one of my favourite producers of all time, I love his Atmospheric tunes, so when I had the idea for this mix, I had to do it.  I love listening to these tunes at the end of a big night out at a sick rave, maybe you might too.  Enjoy!

SP005 Paradox Vol.48 Vinyl Show

A mix of one of, if not my favourite genres, atmospheric drum and bass. Inspired to put it together following the passing of MC Conrad, it features some of the deep, cosmic atmospheric sounds that Conrad and Bukem became known for in the mid-90s. Featuring a tribute track to close out the mix, I got a little emotional hearing his voice again. That guy really did influence hundreds of thousands of lives with his lyrics. And as he said, 'it's all about the way you want to hear your feelings'...

The incredible Cryogenics is back on Omni Music with his latest sonic adventures. First up is Echoes of the Cosmos, a stripped back ascent to deep space with haunting vocals and peaceful melodics. Final Approach increases the sonic velocity with an amen-led journey littered with beguiling pads and rhythmic keys. Lost Elysium is next, the perfect example of rolling atmospheric breaks that build with discreet hooks and evolving pads. Midnight Aura creates an absorbing groove with cutting edge breaks and an entrancing bass hook before the EP closes on the title track with more chopped jungle breaks, evocative vocals and tranquil pads.
