Dans les Lunes is a 4 track EP composed by Marine Tordjemann as a musical illustration of the fanzine "Dans les Lunes", released on the first full moon of October 2020.
For the first issue of the new format of Futur 2010, Marine aka OKO DJ was invited to take the lead of the fanzine.
After several months of work, she presented “Dans Les Lunes”:
an invitation to take a slower, more grounded and non-linear gaze at the universe and ourselves; a reflection tinged with spirituality and mysticism, mirroring the female cycle and its sacred dimension.
To align with one's cyclical nature means becoming aware of one's movements, vitality, and therefore of the world.
Each track of the album represents a phase of the female cycle and explores the themes that are deeply linked with each energy.

𝔇𝔞𝔫𝔰 𝔩𝔢𝔰 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔢𝔰 🌝

The Enchantress emerges just after the Full Moon, after ovulation and so coincides with the pre-menstrual part of the cycle. 
She is the medicine woman, the untamed one, the awakening soul who will not rest.
The Enchantress is wild because she needs to be.
She needs to run, headfirst and arrow-straight into the heart of every experience. And she needs her wildness to be able to traverse the worlds. She senses, intuits and feels the spectrum of feels, without censoring herself.
This is a sacred phase filled with wisdom, teaching and the passing down of medicine songs, tools, advice and skills. In this phase, we recognize the life, death, life cycle that is present all around the Universe.

The Enchantress

The Mother breathes into life after the Maiden, at the Full Moon. And she rises within, during the ovulatory phase of a woman’s blood cycle. This is the time when a woman carries a life inside her and grows an entire being within her as she embodies this phase. This phase is filled with strong nurturing energy, care, self-expression, and patience. 
It's not necessarily about children here. Through birthing a new passion, new idea, new creative endeavor, etc. you can embody this phase and become The Mother to your own creations.
The Mother Archetype is glowing. She is sensual, abundant and bursting with fertility. She is creative, generous and compassionate. And in many mythologies, this potent female archetype is one with the Earth Goddess herself.

The Mother

The Virgin Warrior archetype is the energy type that women embody during the pre-ovulation, or follicular phase of our own, personal moon cycles (when our bleeding has just finished). 
If bleeding is death, post-menstruation is your rebirth. 
The Virgin Warrior is full of life, fueled with fresh and rising energy of youth most times.

In ancient and medieval times archetypal witches were seen as the healers in their societies, sought out for their abilities to cure people of their physical and mental ailments.
The Witch places a focus on the natural world as a source of their knowledge and power, seeking from it the answers which she needs in order to be able to heal the physical, mental and spiritual ailments of those around them.
The modern archetypal Witch is of a woman in touch with the spirits or Gods and thus imbued with tremendous power. As such she represents feminine power.
She is aware of both her power to destroy and to create, and understands how to wield this power in herself and her world. When we begin to embody this archetype, not only as a symbol but as ourselves, we can create lives that are not consuming us with output, but rather feeding us. The result is, we have more to give to others.
