A concept I've been stuck with for a bit. Don't have a proper ending for it either.

Skipping Stones

I was trying to create a big pad sound and ended up with this. It's 4-voice polyphonic and basically takes 4 basic mutable VCOs and runs them through 2 clouds modules, one low and one high, as well as some VCFs. I thought it was reminescent of something from the Interstellar soundtrack.

Andromeda

Had some time to jam this Independence Day so I cranked out some chill lounge music. Beats from a Volca Sample and chord pad from my Minilogue.

The veil of twilight shrouds a strange alien world. Between the vascular silhouette of a primordial forest, the horizon is ablaze with starlight and the undulating glow of a million bioluminescent tree frogs.

My name is Nova Seven. I have been operating as an independant artist/designer/musician for 20 years. The Novaseven project began as a means to broaden the communication of an internal creative dialogue that,in its infancy, began solely with visual art and design. When composing an artist statement for my visual works I found that words could not solely express the nature of the work,furthermore,the imagery was static....and I felt strongly compelled to begin to animate the canvas with sound. Over time I began to hem in other creative outlets introducing the elements of songrwriting, spiritual expression, voice, strings, and dance. One could say that slowly everything in my world began to tie into this project,so much so that I felt these works were key to my ability to communicate accurately and effectively who I am with those who should choose to step into my world. I would like to think of it all as a very....very long fireside conversation about life,providence,the plight and emergence of the human race from various seasons of its existance. To sum it all up.....this is the story of the world as I have come to know it.
