This is my recording from Elements Festival 2022, I played the closing set on the 'Elementary' Stage 1am - 3am. 

A Downtempo set that is 109bpm - 115bpm blending through a range of Organic, Deep, Tribal and Psychedelic sounds.

Thanks so much to Trent and the Elements team for such an incredible festival.

Ivan Turanjanin; one of the keystones to the South African dance music industry, working tirelessly for nigh on 2 decades to enhance our scene, his contribution cannot be overstated. Everything his hand has touched has been bona-fide class and it's not hyperbole to say that our scene would not be where it is today were it not for him. 

As a DJ he is best known for his forays into driving techno, both solo and as one half of Killer Robot. Though anyone who knows their shit know's he is the quintessential DJ's DJ - able to seamlessly deliver a broad spectrum of genres perfected to whatever time slot or stage he finds himself upon. 

We had the ultimate pleasure of having him close our Weekender event in February; this mix is based upon what he blessed us with this hot & hazy Sunday. Testament to his sonic diversity and crowd-reading prowess, he absolutely roasted the dance floor with an arrestingly  emotive selection that punctuated the whole weekend like no other could have. Tears of joy were welled in the eyes of our revellers - no word of a lie. What a guy!

As always it's a big moment in the year for me .. the festival is a bit of a whirlwind experience, and it's an apex of all the work involved in bringing everything together to then be able to drop in to the moment and share some music with the incredible dancefloor on the Vertex stage. It was a huge year this year moving to a new location, but the incredible community and vibes were unchanged and it is a true honour to be able to share moments like this. 

Once again I was collaborating with the Pain-proof Pixie as a performer and a friend Dylan also jumped up for some robot rave dance moves so I want to especially thank both Bek and Dylan for adding to the vibe for this set. Everyone on the lineup for the Sunday techno session played incredible sets too .. thank you Jesse Kuch, William Olsen, April Kerry, Jay Lumen.  Big love and thanks also to everyone who brought together such an incredible production setup for the Vertex stage this year 🖤

Electronic producer/DJ Ok Sure has been turning heads recently for her otherworldly style. Her first experience with electronic music came at the age of 13 and that segued into a career as Kaysh, which won her the Pioneer Pro DJ search in 2006. Her prowess continued to evolve until she became Ok Sure – a kinetic combination of dark, moody and melodic music designed for dance floors like Rainbow Serpent, Esoteric, Rose Quartz, Arcadia & Let Them Eat Cake. These soundscapes were well received from the vibrant and versatile music cultures in Japan, Thailand and Cambodia, building her profile immensely within the booming and boundless underground music communities of Australasia. Never abandoning her roots, her trajectory took her back to DJ competitions in 2015 where she placed as finalist in the Your Paradise DJ competition and later catapulted her career for her remix of Ukiyo by Hermitude that won her the Triple J remix competition out of 700 entries.

The rising star is busier than ever these days with her work ethic concentrated in the studio. Ok Sure is on regular rotation on Australian radio stations such as Triple J, Triple J Unearthed, Triple R, PBS, Kiss FM, FBi and Switch FM as well as having her own monthly shows on TRNSMT & Reform Radio in the UK, which was nominated for a Mixcloud Online Radio Award. She’s remixed artists such as Deadmau5, Sophie Lowe, Evangeline, Porsches, Habits, Lupa J, King IV and Miles Brown & now predominately works with Osopho & as 1/3 of Queens Of Club, but in fact it’s her magnetic performances that she is most often booked for. Ok Sure delivers live performances consisting of downtempo, industrial, dark melodic electronica and DJ sets pulsing with techno, deep house, electronica and…whatever
