The mix has a lot of tracks that, in my opinion, would be played on the best party. It is a perfect representation of the kind of music I’m crazy into.

Berlin Based, devoted digger and Small Talk residence Deniz Arslan has been enchanting people with his sets for years from clubs to intimate booths. 
Whipping through a mix of mid-’80s disco, early-’90s Detroit and Chicago House, all the while dancing, he knows how to bring the party vibe to any dance floor. Coming from the street dancing scene he soon begin to digg more and more into music and finally was able to express his taste not only with movement but also through two turntables and a mixer.

A mysterious producer named Martin Glass first emerged in 2017 with the release of an acclaimed LP which has since gone on to find some sort of strange cult following and admiration with certain circles.

"The Pacific Visions of Martin Glass" was released initially as a limited edition vinyl album but has since found a niche for itself between the realms of new age ambient and 80's hold music. It's wicked...

Anyway, when the mysterious Martin hit us up saying that he had a brand new project on the way at the tail end of last year we thought it might be the perfect opportunity to lock him down and ask if he's like to record a mixtape. After a lot of back and forth, many phone calls, a lot of hold music and some grumpy receptionists he eventually agreed.

The result is this wonderful dreamscape, just under an hour of magical weaving ambience, downtempo and a nod to 'Love On A Real Train' all thrown in for good measure. It's a bit special...

@jitterparty invite Gabe : (@joilafrique) is the co-creator/organiser of Apricot Ballroom (@apricotballroom), an audiophile party based in Sheffield, UK. He's an obsessive digger and collector of both records and speakers, and is usually found digging through dusty shelves and shops for rare vintage pieces of both kinds.
Having been DJing since 2009 he's been involved with a variety of projects focusing on different styles in that time, but really found his feet in starting Apricot Ballroom with best friend Dave (Nonna Fab). The party focuses on displaying obscure and interesting music of all varieties through a beautiful vintage audiophile sound system in a high energy club setting.
The party and its hosts have gone from strength to strength lately, having started a mix series and record label over the last two years, the two becoming regular fixtures at some of the UK's best boutique festivals, and the monthly parties regularly packing out their chosen home of Bal Fashions in Sheffield.
