There’s a sticker on the back with a number and text saying, “Please return if lost!” You take it home, plug your headphones in, and have a listen to some of the tracks, which you later decide to upload to SoundCloud without letting the artist know first…

The Sundown Tapes is a summer series of mixes curated by Argo inspired by summer and the iconic legacy of José Padilla at Café Del Mar in Ibiza. Each volume brings together a musical artist who is invited to create their own version of a "sunset mix" - music for that moment when the light softens and the world slows down.

The sounds explored drift through balaeric ambience, house, electronic, rap, brazillian funk, and more -- shaped by each artist's personal response to the magic of sundown.

The first 30 minutes of the mix comes from Diego Andlovin

Diego Andlovin is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and music producer based in
Mexico City.

A Berklee College of Music scholarship recipient, Diego is the creative force behind his solo
music project as well as a founding member of the audiovisual bands GRLS and DIE. With
GRLS, he has performed at major festivals including AXE Ceremonia and Tecate Pal Norte,
blending music and visual art into immersive experiences.

Since 2017, Diego has built a strong presence in photography, working across fashion, nightlife,
and music. His portfolio includes campaigns for Prada, Anthony Rivera, Skyler Swimwear,
and others, as well as shaping the signature black-and-white aesthetic of the iconic Mexico City club Antro-Juan in 2022/2023.

Currently, Diego continues to expand his artistic practice through fashion and nightlife
photography while composing and producing new work for his projects GRLS and DIE.

Disappearing doesn’t always mean being lost — sometimes it’s the only way to be found. Gonefromhere is a fractured transmission from the edge of memory, a collaboration between three sonic shapeshifters: Phntmzn, Slaymor, and Br. Blending ambient textures, glitched-out rhythms, and ghostly vocal fragments, the album drifts through haunted soundscapes and late-night frequencies, where time stretches and identity dissolves.

Each track feels like a transmission from an abandoned frequency — distorted but intimate, raw but ethereal. Phntmzn paints with delay and decay; Slaymor carves silence into rhythm; and Br threads the ghost in the machine through it all. Together, they craft a journey that is both a departure and a return.

This isn’t just music — it’s an echo of something once felt, now reimagined. You’re not here anymore. You’re Gonefromhere.
