Returning for its fifth instalment of the series, ‘Explorations 05’ welcomes a fresh wave of talent to Anjunadeep, marking the label debuts of Just Her, Nuage and Sahar Z & Vic F as well as welcoming back prolific production duo Eli & Fur.

Following up from their well received ‘Chlo / Wendy Legs’ EP back in 2017, Eli & Fur return with a signature slice of melodic house on the brooding ‘White Sails’.

A familiar face on influential imprints such as Bedrock, Suara and Lost & Found, Israel’s Sahar Z teams up with newcomer Vic F on dreamy deep cut ‘Ollie’.

Following recent releases with respected imprints Einmusika, Suara and Crosstown Rebels, producing as one half of notable house duo Him_Self_Her as well as a solo artist, we welcome Just Her to the label with the infectious peak time groover ‘Desire’.

Gab Rhome is back on All Day I Dream with, believe it or not, his very first solo release. 
We first encountered our bowtie wearing friend via his collaboration with Maher Daniel way back in the label's catalogue. 
He dropped by again last summer as one of the tracks on our annual Summer Sampler release with “Venus“. 
It rocked the Beatport Deep House chart for months. Continuing in that vein we find two wonky fun summery house tunes with rolling grooves, tinkling pianos, glassy sounds and memorable melodies…which is fun to say by the way...go on, say it. 
Say it out loud right now on your plane journey, in the coffee shop, hotel room or in bed with your cat… Words and music to make you smile.

"Cecilia" is the last track that remained in the EP since the very beginning. You could even say it was one of PHCK's first productions converting into their new style, perhaps. A mysterious & darker atmosphere, tells a deeper story put together by synth modulations from PHCK's beloved moog leads. Supporting violins and building atmospheres roll over pushing percussion arrangements, which lay the foundation for a more club oriented piece.

PHCK's "Natu" EP will be dropping on our label, April 27th.

Active Child's tune 'Johnny Belinda' gets the remix treatment from Dutch electronic music legend Matthew Dekay The producer has been responsible for one of Innervisions' biggest hits, 'Lost In A Moment', and also produced the groundbreaking EP 'Amity' including the summer hit 'Fangtango' on Maeve. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. But it certainly is the vocal that puts its mark on the track and Dekay manages to make the interaction between the vocals and soundscapes sound so easy. 

Active Child's EP 'Johnny Belinda Remixes' will be released April 30th, 2018 on Subtract Music.
